The DualXDirect is a dual-channel active DI box designed for connecting unbalanced instrument, line, or speaker signals to balanced inputs. Each input signal is routed to an XLR output with transformer-isolated isolation, as well as to a parallel Thru output, allowing it to be connected simultaneously to a stage amplifier.

A unique feature of ART's XDirect models is the combination of 1/4" TRS and XLR inputs, offering enhanced connection flexibility. The switches on the front panel enable 30 dB attenuation for high-level signals, as well as ground lift to reduce hum.

The active circuit can operate either with phantom power or for over 100 hours with a new 9V battery. Active DI boxes are ideal for sources such as guitars and basses with passive pickups or acoustic guitars with piezo pickups without a preamp. Simple and rugged, the DualXDirect is a compact DI in a durable aluminum enclosure, with two independent channels and a straightforward set of features.
