Better taste and nice aroma. For someone who doesn't like very sweet scents/tastes (e.g. caramel or vanilla), it is a very good choice and good quality. Not for 75 euros per kilo though. The 100% increase in less than 5 years is for me a reason to look for alternatives.

I have tried the caramel flavor and it was good. It had a caramel taste. This one doesn't have any hazelnut flavor! It is very expensive (just like the caramel flavor) and you buy it for something different, but this time I wasted my money. Essentially, you pay the same price for 100g as you would for 200g of regular coffee, just for the flavor. The taste is good but it's not hazelnut! Even if you smell the jar of coffee, it doesn't smell like hazelnut! The supermarket didn't have the Jacobs hazelnut for me to try. If I find it somewhere, I will buy it to try and see if it's better.

My personal opinion, but it doesn't compare to the caramel of the same brand, I didn't particularly like the hazelnut.

I bought it because I couldn't find Jacobs hazelnut, which is one of my favorites. It's not as good as Jacobs in terms of quality, but you can't say it's bad either. I would rate it around 3.5 to 4 stars. When you see reviews like this, with some people saying it's good and others saying they didn't like it, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Specifically, you can estimate how it will be from the comments. I had read the comments here, and it was exactly as I expected, not very good, but not bad either. I would recommend to those who bought it and didn't like it to try Jacobs Hazelnut. Much better in taste and quality. Here at Douwe Egberts, you pay more for the jar than for the taste. It's understandable that those who haven't tried better ones would like this one, because it's not bad.

For something different, I would recommend this instant coffee. But forget about the traditional Nescafe, of course. What I really liked is the rich cream it makes (I wouldn't just call it foam). The price of 60-65€/Kg may not be justified, but it is definitely a high-quality and light coffee that is worth it.

Oh my, terrible... I bought it in hazelnut flavor to avoid the bad taste and smell of instant coffee, and this one is even worse! I tried it hot and cold, and it's undrinkable... I didn't have any other coffee and I was ashamed to offer it to someone...
