The Metabo VibraTech (MVT) system with dual damping reduces vibration at the handles, while the Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) electronic system allows stepless speed adjustment and maintains a constant speed under load.

The speed and impact energy can be reduced when working with softer materials, while the electronic soft start helps ensure precise drilling starts. It features a slim grip area, a large speed-control trigger and a lock-on switch for continuous operation. The motor and gear housing is made of die-cast aluminium.
