The Typotrust 227 receipt pad is designed for issuing receipts for returned items in retail transactions. Its carbonless sheets produce three copies in white, yellow, and pink.

The cover features a protective strip along the spine and durable materials for everyday use. Two-colour printing makes the form easy to fill in, while the filing holes and perforation allow the copies to be easily detached. Each pad includes a protective card insert that fits between the sets to prevent writing from transferring to the sheets below.
