An extremely affordable stereo amplifier, the NAD C 268 features superior characteristics and technology compared to other amplifiers in its class. Designed for various setups, the C 268 can be used in multiple ways, such as traditionally, with a preamplifier, and for simple or bi-amplification of your speakers.
The NAD C 268 can be bridged, providing ample power, as it transforms from 2 x 80W to a 300-watt monoblock. Although the C 268 appears to be a simple power amplifier, it is part of the Classic series with rich features.
Capabilities:
- Selectable balanced inputs for use with high-quality preamplifiers and processors.
- Automatic detection with selectable threshold for automation of complex systems.
- Line output for additional speakers or subwoofers.
- Ground terminal for eliminating ground loops and noise.
As a member of NAD's Classic series, the C 268 offers high-standard sound performance. Features such as channel accuracy, appropriate input and output characteristics, and low-noise circuits contribute to its exceptional performance.
The power supply of the C 268 is capable of delivering nearly 200 watts continuously and over 500 watts instantaneously, allowing for short-term musical transients. The innovative asymmetrical PowerDrive utilizes every watt for precise reproduction of demanding music without distortion.
