This is a serious ambidextrous mouse, which has no problem with the sensor, as long as you have a mouse pad. The perfect smoothness of movement lies in choosing the right combination: a) communication frequency with the PC at 250Hz or 500Hz or 1000Hz (switch at the bottom left, under the cover) and b) the desired dpi (left rotary switch), with each dpi value even giving a specific color to the wheel's lighting. If you are left-handed and need the side button functions, I don't think you'll find another mouse on the market with 4 side buttons, 2 identical on each side, so with the left/right lower right switch under the cover, apart from reversing left - right click, the side switches on the corresponding side are activated and the ones on the opposite side are deactivated so they are not pressed by mistake. As for customization, there are good free applications to set what you want each button to do (search for XMouse Button Control, also Cherry Keys individual assignment of thumb keys and the middle mouse button, etc.)
Also, it's a great idea to have 3 covers to choose which fits your palm, but in practice both the Small, Medium, and Large covers all seemed the same to me. Finally (to finish with the extra features of this particular mouse), you change the colors of the RGB curve line lighting under the transparent cover with the right rotary switch. However, this lighting is fixed in the color you choose (there is no color change effect) and does not affect the color on the wheel (for example, the dpi that suits me gives a red color to the wheel and I am forced into two-tone, as I do not want exclusively red colors).
Generally, it has an ideal grip (neither too small nor too large for the palm), weight (neither too light nor too heavy), good scrolling and wheel pressing, good feel on left and right click. It reminds me of the old classic immortal Logitech and Microsoft mice of the past 10-15 years. I don't know if it will show similar durability, but since 2020 there hasn't been a mouse I've bought, including many very expensive Logitech and Razer versions, that no matter how perfect the first impression was, at most within a year, some basic function broke (sometimes the smooth movement of the wheel, sometimes its press, sometimes double click, sometimes the "drag-and-drop," which would drop what you were dragging whenever and wherever it wanted, etc. etc.). Note I don't play games with the mouse, I work daily in CAD and other specialized or general applications.
So I've realized that all - absolutely all - mice are now something consumable (look up the concept of planned obsolescence) and every year I have to replace it, so the price is important. I got this one for €8.64 on 7/1/2026 and bought it. Now that I'm writing the review (15/1/2026) you can find it in 3 stores for €29.5 or €41.76 or €44.58! Yes, Nacon is a French brand specializing in quality gaming products (from peripherals to chairs), yes this particular one seems comparable to other mice at €30-45, but after failures from 3 months to at most 1.5 years from mouse brands that cost me from €80 up to €150, I saw that "you get what you pay for" does not apply and neither this nor any other would I buy anymore at a price above €10-15, because that's where I personally set the "acceptable annual consumable cost."
Πρόκειται για ένα σοβαρό αμφιδέξιο ποντίκι, που δεν έχει κανένα πρόβλημα με το σένσορα, εφόσον έχεις mouse pad. Η τέλεια ομαλότητα κίνησης κρύβεται στην επιλογή του κατάλληλου συνδυασμού: α) συχνότητας επικοινωνίας με το pc στα 250Hz ή 500Hz ή 1000Hz (διακόπτης κάτω αριστερά, κάτω από το κάλυμα) και β) των επιθυμητών dpi (αριστερός περιστροφικός διακόπτης), με κάθε τιμή dpi μάλιστα, να δίνει συγκεκριμένο χρώμα στο φωτισμό της ροδέλας. Αν πάλι είσαι αριστερόχειρας και έχεις ανάγκη τις λειτουργίες πλαϊνών κουμπιών, δε νομιζω να βρεις άλλο ποντίκι στην αγορά να έχει 4 πλαϊνά κουμπιά, 2 όμοια σε καθε πλευρά, οπότε με τον left/right κάτω δεξιά διακόπτη κάτω από το κάλυμα, πέρα από την αντιστροφή αριστερού - δεξιού κλικ, ενεργοποιούνται οι πλαϊνοί διακόπτες της ανάλογης πλευράς και απενεργοποιούνται οι απέναντι για να μην πατιούνται κατά λάθος. Όσον αφορά το customization υπάρχουν δωρεάν καλές εφαρμογές για να ρυθμίζεις τι θέλεις να κάνει το κάθε κουμπί (ψάξτε XMouse Button Control, επίσης Cherry Keys individual assignment of thumb keys and the middle mouse button, κλπ.)
Επίσης, φοβερή ιδέα να υπάρουν 3 καλύματα για να διαλέξεις ποιο βολεύει στην παλάμη σου, στην πράξη όμως τόσο το Small, όσο το Medium και το Large κάλυμα, εμένα όλα μου φάνηκαν ίδια. Τέλος (για να κλείσω με τα extra χαρακτηριστικά του συγκεκριμένου ποντικιού), αλλάζεις τα χρώματα του φωτισμού της RGB καμπύλης γραμμής κάτω από το διαφανές κάλυμα, με τον δεξιό περιστροφικό διακόπτη. Πάντως ο φωτισμός αυτός είναι σταθερός στο χρώμα που θα επιλέξεις (δεν έχει εφέ εναλλαγής χρωμάτων) και δεν επηρεάζει το χρώμα στη ροδέλα (εμένα π.χ. τα dpi που με βολεύουν δίνουν κόκκινο χρώμα στη ροδέλα και αναγκάζομαι σε διχρωμία, καθώς δεν θέλω αποκλειστικά κόκκινα χρώματα).
Γενικότερα τώρα, έχει ιδανικό πιάσιμο (ούτε πολύ μικρό ούτε πολύ μεγάλο για την παλάμη), βάρος (ούτε πολύ ελαφρύ ούτε πολύ βαρύ), καλή κύλιση και πάτημα ροδέλας, καλή αίσθηση σε αριστερό και δεξί κλικ. Θυμίζει τα παλιά κλασσικά αθάνατα Logitech και Microsoft της περασμένης 10ετίας-15ετίας. Δεν ξέρω αν θα δείξει ανάλογη αντοχή, όμως από το 2020 και μετά δεν έχει υπάρξει ποντίκι που να αγόρασα, συμπεριλαμβανομένων πολλών πανάκριβων εκδόσεων της Logitech και της Razer, που όσο τέλεια κι αν ήταν η πρώτη εντύπωση, το πολύ σε ένα χρόνο, σε όλα κάποια βασική λειτουργία χάλασε (άλλοτε η ομαλή κίνηση της ροδέλας, άλλοτε το πάτημά της, άλλοτε το διπλό κλικ, άλλοτε το "σύρε-κι-άσε," το οποίο άφηνε αυτό που σέρνεις όταν και όπου γούσταρε αυτό, κλπ. κλπ.). Υπόψιν δεν παίζω παιχνίδια με το ποντίκι, δουλεύω καθημερινά CAD και άλλες ειδικές ή γενικές εφαρμογές.
Έχω αντιληφθεί λοιπόν ότι όλα - μα όλα - τα ποντίκια είναι πλέον κάτι αναλώσιμο (ψάξτε την έννοια planned obsolescence) και κάθε χρόνο πρέπει να το αντικαθιστώ, γι αυτό και η τιμή του είναι κάτι σημαντικό. Το συγκεκριμένο το πέτυχα στα 8,64€ στις 7/1/2026 και το πήρα. Τώρα που γράφω την κριτική (15/1/2026) το βρίσκεις σε 3 μαγαζιά 29,5€ ή 41,76€ ή 44,58€! Ναι, η Nacon είναι γαλλική φίρμα με ειδίκευση σε ποιοτικά προϊόντα gaming (από περιφεριακά μέχρι καρέκλες), ναι το συγκεκριμένο δείχνει εφάμιλλο άλλων ποντικιών στα 30-45€, όμως μετά τα fail από 3 μήνες έως το πολύ 1,5 χρόνο φιρμάτων ποντικιών που μου κόστισαν από 80€ ως και 150€ , είδα ότι δεν ισχύει το "ό,τι πληρώσεις παίρνεις" και ούτε αυτό, ούτε οποιοδήποτε άλλο θα αγόραζα πια σε τιμή πάνω από 10-15€, γιατί μέχρι εκεί προσωπικά θέτω το "αποδεκτό ετήσιο κόστος αναλωσίμου".
