Their sound is very high quality, but to bring out their quality they need to be broken in first, about 50 to 70 hours playing at low volume with treble and bass at maximum so they soften up. I have them in a 30 square meter room. If you intend to listen to music via Bluetooth from Spotify, you lose half the quality they can produce. You can get by with cheaper ones, you don't need to get these specific ones. They need a DAC (e.g. Topping D10s) to deliver their maximum sound quality performance and you should have music available in FLAC or WAV files. If you want a lot of bass, I'm sorry but they don't have much for multimedia speakers. However, you can connect a powered subwoofer. I would recommend the cheap Yamaha one, it's enough for a 30 square meter room. I have them placed on a desk and this distorts the bass. It's better to have them on stands. Also, you need to have at least 1.5 to 2 meters distance to hear the correct sound they can produce. If you're interested in professional sound editing, they will disappoint you. If you're an average user, they will excite you. The purchase was made from a Romanian store for 182 euros plus shipping. At this price, you can't find such sound, I would give them 5.5 stars. For 259 which they sell for in Greece, they are worth 4.5 stars. If you care about detail, spend a bit more and go for the Adam T5V.

The positives: they fill the space with good sound quality and have enough bass that you don't need a woofer, but you also have the option to connect a coaxial speaker. In general, they have every connection one can think of for multimedia speakers (Bluetooth, RCA, 3.5mm Jack, Spdif (optical)). They also have an infrared receiver and a wireless remote control. Finally, they have incredible stereo image separation... do a 3D test with the speakers properly positioned and you will understand sound from all around you! (in general, form an equilateral triangle and make sure it closes behind your head and not inside your ears), this way you will distinguish what you hear and from where.

The negatives: They have 2 crossovers, so 2 blending in the frequencies, and as a result, in strange frequencies, you hear, for example, the low bass with the heavy voice excessively indistinctly between them, the same goes for the very high midrange that blends with the cymbals.

The neutral: If you don't have stands, you won't have objective sound, but they will flood your desk with bass if you place them directly on your desk.. In general, the adjustment of treble and bass will be nonexistent and you won't notice it if you have them 1 meter away from your ears and they are next to you...

They have a 6.5-inch bass, 4-inch midrange, and 3/4-inch tweeter, accompanied by at least 90% efficiency amplification (Class D amplifier), and a ton of connection options (there is also a subwoofer connection), including optical fiber (spdif), Bluetooth 4.1, coaxial, RCA, and a 5-pin Din between speakers for power+data.

In conclusion: You will hear all the songs as if you were at a live concert if you adjust them, human voices will be lively, as well as violins and any sound between 100-2000 Hz.. they have a lot of bass no matter if you have it at -infinity or +infinity if you are very close... but they are not suitable for use in Edm, and anything that generally has punchy bass and a wide range of frequencies... they are speakers that bring pop, jazz, and soul to life, but in rock, you will miss the tone, the drums - cymbals, and you will mainly hear the vocals and not the distorted scenes that are needed...
I would recommend them for someone who wants to try out 3-way sound and wants them for a shelf, for example, a television, etc., and is at least 3 meters behind them...

After a lot of searching, while I had the edifier S 550 5.1 on my PC, I sold them because of their volume, although I had no complaints, they were very loud and full of sound, and I decided to go for something different. I was torn between a 2.1 system or 2.0 bookshelf speakers, and in the end, I went for these specific R2750DB speakers, mostly for music and then for movies and games. The sound and overall experience are on another level compared to what I had before, both with Logitech and Edifier 5.1 for computer speakers. The sound, even though I play at low and moderate volumes to start with, is crystal clear with very good bass, and I can hear details that I couldn't hear before. I think, even though they are a bit expensive, they are worth every euro, with a very good connection to mobile devices via Bluetooth, optical, and of course, analog RCA with a good sound card. They work wonders together. Go ahead without fear, these speakers are amazing with the quality and seal of Edifier... (And for those who complain about the bass in smaller models, if you have a good sound card, it sounds perfect.)

Wanting to save the cost of buying an integrated amplifier and passive speakers, but mainly due to lack of space, I ended up with the solution of active speakers. These specific speakers have 2 analog inputs (RCA) and 2 digital inputs (COAXIAL & Optical fiber) which means that besides the integrated amplifier (Class D), there is also an integrated DAC. The next good thing is that they are 3-way speakers, which means that in theory they produce better sound than the possibility of being 2-way speakers. The combination of all these features and the price at 240€ is the best value for money in the market, I believe. I mainly use them for music in the living room and secondarily for movies from the TV or gaming from the PS3. The sound they produce for their price is very good and they will not disappoint you if you don't have Hi-Fi requirements. They emphasize the bass and the detail in the treble is definitely missing. The Bluetooth works flawlessly without delays (unfortunately only 4.1 version and SBC codec). If you want to connect a turntable, you need to separately purchase a preamplifier (Phono preamp), unless it is integrated in your turntable. I don't know how many people on the internet use them as computer speakers as they are considered large. Good build quality and heavy. Additionally, there is a future provision for an active subwoofer. The remote control is cheap but does its job.

-14/01/2021 - Of course, my opinion has not changed and I am very satisfied. However, I did some research on the audio encoder options for Bluetooth and discovered that there are some superior options. The R2750DB only support the SBC encoder, which is the most common in all devices that have Bluetooth. Not that the sound from Bluetooth is not nice, but if I had known this 10 months ago when I bought them, I might have wanted to at least listen to the next models of Edifier that support aptX or aptX HD Bluetooth encoder, such as the S1000MKII, which are 80€ more expensive and have more or less the same power, and if I noticed a difference in sound quality, I might have made a different choice. These are all details, but it's good to discuss them.
