I wanted a "winter drink" and to be honest, I bought Jack Honey partly out of curiosity, and partly because I wanted Drambuie but Jack was on offer and much cheaper so I thought it was an opportunity.
The two drinks don't have much in common, despite the similar profile (whiskey-honey-aromatic elements), but I like both, it depends on the moment and the taste profile of each. Let's make it clear: Drambuie is in a category of its own, something very special, it has a thicker texture with intense honey and herbal flavor-aromas. Jack Honey remains a whiskey with a strong honey presence, but a more subdued presence of other aromas (it's simply whiskey and honey), it's smokier in taste and in my opinion more one-dimensional than Drambuie, not that this is a bad thing. However, I enjoyed it, it's nice for a cold evening with an ice cube, especially if you're not a whiskey fan like me, you'll find it very pleasant and balanced in terms of the "I feel the alcohol" - sweetness. A nice suggestion for something different.

This particular one has the strong taste of classic Jack but with the difference that it brings out the flavors of honey and spices, as well as their taste. It didn't remind me at all of liqueurs in the classic sense, personally, and I can say that I enjoyed it very much and will probably order it again.

I may be young and haven't experienced the finer things in life as I am an athlete, but when I have a day off and want to have a drink, I want to enjoy it. So, I wouldn't trade Jack Daniels whiskey for anything. Even the one with honey and spices is unbeatable. A few days ago, I bought a bottle of Jack with honey. After taking a shower and relaxing, I opened the bottle to pour myself a drink (always just one). I only added one ice cube and sat next to the fireplace to watch a movie on Netflix. This whiskey is pure pleasure. Its taste is exactly like the classic Jack but with the addition of honey and spices. What can I say? Simply the best in its category. Don't hesitate to buy it.

If I wrote the review on the first or second day I got it, I would write ecstatic reviews... Since it is a drink with a very nice aroma, pleasant notes, and goes down very easily... But over time, it disappoints... If you drink it occasionally, it's fine... If you drink it quite often, its taste tires you and your palate feels like swallowing cough syrup for children so that it is not intense... You buy it knowing that it is a liqueur, you have an inner hope because of the brand that it will taste like a whiskey with honey, but in the end, it is nothing like either and it disappoints...

Είναι η πρώτη φορά στην ζωή μου που κάποιο ποτό με κούρασε... Είναι επίσης η πρώτη φορά που έχω τέτοια μετάπτωση για ένα ποτό... Αν έγραφα το review την 1η ή 2η ημέρα που το πήρα θα έγραφα διθυραμβικές κριτικές... Καθότι είναι ένα ποτό με πολύ ωραίο άρωμα, ευχάριστες νότες και κατεβαίνει πολύ εύκολα... Με τον καιρό όμως απογοητεύει... Αν πίνεις μια στο τόσο είναι μια χαρά... Αν πίνεις αρκετά συχνά η γεύση του σε κουράζει και ο ουρανίσκος νιώθει λες και καταπίνει σιρόπι για τον βήχα για παιδιά να μην είναι έντονο... Το αγοράζεις έχοντας γνώση ότι είναι λικέρ, έχεις μια εσωτερική ελπίδα λόγω μάρκας ότι θα αγγίζει σε γεύση ένα ουίσκι με μέλι αλλά τελικά δεν είναι τίποτα από τα δύο και απογοητεύει...

From the first sip, the palate is filled with vanilla, cinnamon, and... as its name suggests, honey! The honey here is not shy, but not overpowering either, there is a nice complexity between fruits and herbs in it. The drink is smooth and warm, not overly strong, only 35%, and the taste of honey is sufficient, as well as some caramelized cinnamon and a hint of cocoa in the finish. One of the best American honey whiskies to date.

Το ποτό είναι ομαλό και ζεστό, δεν είναι υπερβολικά δυνατό, μόλις 35%, και η γεύση του μελιού είναι επαρκής, όπως και κάποια καραμελομένη κανέλα και μια ιδέα κακάου στο φινίρισμα. Ένα από τα καλύτερα αμερικανικά ουίσκι με μέλι μέχρι σήμερα.
Excellent taste. As much as I would say, for those who want a whiskey with a sweet flavor without ending up completely as a liqueur. It is an ideal choice, the whiskey blends perfectly with the honey liqueur. I prefer it neat.

Very nice with intense flavor and aromas! It is quite sweet, if it had less honey it would be the best, that's why they put it in the liqueur category.

I may be young and haven't experienced the finer things in life as I am an athlete, but when I have a day off and want to have a drink, I want to enjoy it. So, I wouldn't trade Jack Daniels whiskey for anything. Even the one with honey and spices is unbeatable. A few days ago, I bought a bottle of Jack with honey. After taking a shower and relaxing, I opened the bottle to pour myself a drink (always just one). I only added one ice cube and sat next to the fireplace to watch a movie on Netflix. This whiskey is pure pleasure. Its taste is exactly like the classic Jack but with the addition of honey and spices. What can I say? Simply the best in its category. Don't hesitate to buy it.
Μπορεί να είμαι μικρός σε ηλικία και να μην έχω πιει τις κάβες της ζωής μου καθώς είμαι αθλητής, αλλά όταν έχω καμιά μέρα off και θέλω να πιω ένα ποτό, θέλω να το ευχαριστηθώ. Το λοιπόν, το ουίσκι Jack Daniels δεν το αλλάζω με τίποτα. Ακόμη και αυτό με το μέλι και τα μπαχαρικά είναι άπαιχτο. Πριν λίγες ημέρες προμηθεύτηκα ένα μπουκάλι Jack με μέλι. Αφού έκανα το ντουζ μου και χαλάρωσα άνοιξα το μπουκάλι για να βάλω ένα ποτό ( πάντα ένα ). Έβαλα μόνο έναν πάγο και κάθισα δίπλα από το τζάκι για να δω μια ταινία στο Netflix . Το ουίσκι αυτό είναι απόλαυση. Η γεύση του είναι ακριβώς σαν το κλασικό jack αλλά με προσθήκη μελιού και μπαχαρικών . Τι να λέμε τώρα. Απλά κορυφή στο είδος του. Μην διστάσετε να το αγοράσετε.
It is the first time in my life that a drink has tired me... It is also the first time I have such a disappointment about a drink... If I wrote the review on the first or second day I got it, I would write ecstatic reviews... Since it is a drink with a very nice aroma, pleasant notes, and goes down very easily... But over time, it disappoints... If you drink it occasionally, it's fine... If you drink it quite often, its taste tires you and your palate feels like swallowing cough syrup for children so that it is not intense... You buy it knowing that it is a liqueur, you have an inner hope because of the brand that it will taste like a whiskey with honey, but in the end, it is nothing like either and it disappoints...

Είναι η πρώτη φορά στην ζωή μου που κάποιο ποτό με κούρασε... Είναι επίσης η πρώτη φορά που έχω τέτοια μετάπτωση για ένα ποτό... Αν έγραφα το review την 1η ή 2η ημέρα που το πήρα θα έγραφα διθυραμβικές κριτικές... Καθότι είναι ένα ποτό με πολύ ωραίο άρωμα, ευχάριστες νότες και κατεβαίνει πολύ εύκολα... Με τον καιρό όμως απογοητεύει... Αν πίνεις μια στο τόσο είναι μια χαρά... Αν πίνεις αρκετά συχνά η γεύση του σε κουράζει και ο ουρανίσκος νιώθει λες και καταπίνει σιρόπι για τον βήχα για παιδιά να μην είναι έντονο... Το αγοράζεις έχοντας γνώση ότι είναι λικέρ, έχεις μια εσωτερική ελπίδα λόγω μάρκας ότι θα αγγίζει σε γεύση ένα ουίσκι με μέλι αλλά τελικά δεν είναι τίποτα από τα δύο και απογοητεύει...
2 άστρα αντί για 1 καθαρά μόνο και μόνο για τον αρχικό (δίκαιο) ενθουσιασμό

From the first sip, the palate is filled with vanilla, cinnamon, and... as its name suggests, honey! The honey here is not shy, but not overpowering either, there is a nice complexity between fruits and herbs in it. The drink is smooth and warm, not overly strong, only 35%, and the taste of honey is sufficient, as well as some caramelized cinnamon and a hint of cocoa in the finish. One of the best American honey whiskies to date.
Από την πρώτη γουλιά γεμίζει ο ουρανίσκος με βανίλια, κανέλα και ... όπως λέει και το όνομά του, μέλι! Το μέλι εδώ δεν είναι ντροπαλό, αλλά όχι και έντονο, υπάρχει μια ωραία πολυπλοκότητα ανάμεσα σε καρπούς και βότανα σε αυτό. Το ποτό είναι ομαλό και ζεστό, δεν είναι υπερβολικά δυνατό, μόλις 35%, και η γεύση του μελιού είναι επαρκής, όπως και κάποια καραμελομένη κανέλα και μια ιδέα κακάου στο φινίρισμα. Ένα από τα καλύτερα αμερικανικά ουίσκι με μέλι μέχρι σήμερα.
Excellent taste. As much as I would say, for those who want a whiskey with a sweet flavor without ending up completely as a liqueur. It is an ideal choice, the whiskey blends perfectly with the honey liqueur. I prefer it neat.

I wanted a "winter drink" and to be honest, I bought Jack Honey partly out of curiosity, and partly because I wanted Drambuie but Jack was on offer and much cheaper so I thought it was an opportunity.
The two drinks don't have much in common, despite the similar profile (whiskey-honey-aromatic elements), but I like both, it depends on the moment and the taste profile of each. Let's make it clear: Drambuie is in a category of its own, something very special, it has a thicker texture with intense honey and herbal flavor-aromas. Jack Honey remains a whiskey with a strong honey presence, but a more subdued presence of other aromas (it's simply whiskey and honey), it's smokier in taste and in my opinion more one-dimensional than Drambuie, not that this is a bad thing. However, I enjoyed it, it's nice for a cold evening with an ice cube, especially if you're not a whiskey fan like me, you'll find it very pleasant and balanced in terms of the "I feel the alcohol" - sweetness. A nice suggestion for something different.
Ήθελα ένα "χειμερινό ποτό" και για να είμαι ειλικρινής, αγόρασα το Jack Honey αφενός από περιέργεια, αφετέρου γιατί ήθελα Drambuie αλλά το Jack ήταν σε προσφορά και αρκετά χαμηλότερο στην τιμή οπότε σκέφτηκα ότι είναι ευκαιρία.
Δεν έχουν μεγάλη σχέση τα δύο ποτά, παρά το κοινό προφίλ (ουίσκι-μέλι-αρωματικά στοιχεία) όμως και τα δύο μου αρέσουν, είναι ανάλογα τη στιγμή και το γευστικό προφίλ του καθενός. Ας το ξεκαθαρίσουμε: το Drambuie είναι μια κατηγορία μόνο του, κάτι πολύ ιδιαίτερο, έχει πιο παχύρευστη υφή με έντονο μέλι και γεύση - αρώματα βοτάνων. Το Jack Honey παραμένει ουίσκι με μεγάλη παρουσία του μελιού, αλλά πιο μετριασμένη παρουσία άλλων αρωμάτων (είναι απλά ουίσκι και μέλι), είναι πιο καπνικό στη γεύση και κατ' εμέ πιο μονοδιάστατο από το Drambuie, χωρίς αυτό να είναι κακό. Ωστόσο, το απόλαυσα, είναι ωραίο για ένα κρύο βράδυ με έναν πάγο, ειδικά αν δεν είσαι φίλος στο ουίσκι όπως εγώ, θα το βρες πολύ ευχάριστο και ισορροπημένο ως προς το "νιώθω το αλκόολ" - γλυκύτητα. Μια ωραία πρόταση για κάτι διαφορετικό.

Το συγκεκριμένο ουίσκι το αγόρασα κατά λάθος πάνω στη βιασύνη μου μιας και ήθελα το κλασσικό Jack Daniel's.Αποφάσισα να μην το επιστρέψω και να,το δοκιμάσω.Η γεύση του ήταν πολύ ωραία αν και πρόκειται για λικέρ και όχι για κλασσικό ουίσκι.Είναι ότι πρέπει για να πιείς ενα ποτάκι χαλαρά και να δεις μια ταινία στο τζάκι.Για μπαλίτσα θέλουμε κάτι πιο δυνατό...

Personally, I like bourbons and Jack Daniels is one of them to start with. This particular one has the strong taste of classic Jack but with the difference that it brings out the flavors of honey and spices, as well as their taste. It didn't remind me at all of liqueurs in the classic sense, personally, and I can say that I enjoyed it very much and will probably order it again.

Το συγκεκριμένο έχει έντονη την γεύση του κλασσικού Jack αλλά με την διαφορά ότι φέρνει έντονα και τα αρώματα του μελιού και των μπαχαριών όπως και την γεύση τους. Δεν μου θύμισε καθόλου λικέρ με την κλασσική σημασία τους προσωπικά και μπορώ να πω ότι το ευχαριστήθηκα πάρα πολύ και κατά πάσα πιθανότητα θα το ξαναπαραγγείλω.
The honey dominates in the taste. Personally, I really like it. If there is a problem with this, then returning to the classic Jack is the only way!
