With a focus on human warmth, Halcotherm has been active in the heating sector since its establishment in 1983. With knowledge and experience, it has established itself in the field of central heating, providing comprehensive solutions for residential or commercial spaces.

Thus, the L3D Oil Boiler (3-pass flue gas) was constructed. The L3D boiler is:

  • Made of steel
  • Flue-tube
  • Pressure type
  • High resistance
  • Designed to operate with oil or gas burner

The construction of the boiler provides a large combustion chamber volume (cylindrical) and advanced flue gas swirlers. The L3D boiler has been designed and studied according to ELOT standards, with approval number ELOT 52. It is made of high-quality steel ST37-2 and seamless flue tubes MANNESMANN type ST 35, according to the strict German specifications DIN 4702. The flue tubes help in excellent heat transfer and complete combustion.

    The boiler works, the installation instructions are fine but:
    The mentioned dimensions of the boiler regarding the width (depth) are completely wrong because they do not include the door of the boiler and the rear nozzles. So while the width is stated as 55 cm, in reality it is about 100 cm and this cost me about 200 euros extra because I had to build an extension of my boiler room on the roof to accommodate the boiler.
    Also, the weight of the boiler is not mentioned anywhere, even approximately.
    The delivery service to the floor with a crane was excellent.
