    It measures accurately if placed correctly in the armpit. For very small children, I believe the armpit is not the appropriate spot because they have to remain still for about 1 minute. Sometimes the measurement is completed in 30 seconds, while other times it takes longer. However, we have been using it for 4 years without any issues.
