Generally good watch, however it does not have a long battery life, it does not have much screen customization and the main issue for me was that after 3 years the screen started having problems (including touch) and the battery life was cut in half.

After 2+ years of use, the amoled screen shows burn-in or ghost image, within warranty replacement, at a cost of approximately 50% of the original purchase value from the official service (185€ + 15 device check). In Garmin forums, it seems to be epidemic. Apart from this issue, it is a very good smartwatch with the advantage of Garmin pay (Alpha Bank & Revolut cards).
Personally, it encouraged me a lot for outdoor activities, running, cycling, aerobic, etc.
(In the photos, one screen shows a simple clock with a black background and the same with a white background where the problem is very intense, another watchface has remained permanently, there is a third-party glass for protection that does not fit well on the edges of the screen but does not bother.)

After 1 year of use, it deserves 5 stars, especially as the next model after the S3 Frontier and for the reasons I bought it. I wanted an affordable, compact (not like the widely available sports watches or Chinese smartwatches), accurate for measurements, especially for running and functional-cross training, but also wearable everywhere. It has very good build quality, it's beautiful (even though I have big hands, I don't mind that it sits relatively small), it's extremely accurate, and particularly durable.
- Average battery life of 5 days (3 workouts per week and not continuous use)
- Decent AMOLED display (for Garmin)
- More sport-oriented and less "smartwatch" approach, e.g. 70/30 ratio
- Relatively good for running
- Has NFC for payments
- Very good app
- Frequent disconnections and reconnections without affecting me in any way

Anyone who wants a more logical smartwatch and less of a training tool should look for other solutions...

I bought the watch in December 2019. I used it continuously and it had some connection problems with Garmin Connect, but not significant ones. In the summer, the screen lost brightness and had some lines, without the glass being broken. I sent it to the store where I bought it and they sent it to the service center. Today they informed me about the repair cost of €240. They told me that it has water damage. However, they didn't tell me how it happened. I bought the watch for 18 months, apparently that's how long Garmins last. Of course, I cancelled the repair and will buy something else.

Many watches have passed through my hands in recent times, tested in the gym, outdoor running, and yoga... I can say with certainty that this particular one is the best! It is accurate in its measurements, which is the most important thing! It tracks all the measurements you need to monitor for good physical condition. It is beautifully designed with a perfect screen, and even on my small wrist, it fits wonderfully! Perhaps my best purchase!

I have been thinking of buying this watch for a long time because I am looking for something that has accuracy in its measurements. Of course, it should also accurately track the kilometers, which I was expecting especially since it has its own GPS. The screen is very good and the battery is quite satisfactory. It lasts for about 4 days with 1 hour of training per day. There is a wide range of applications and watchfaces available. The mobile app is very good and provides all the information you need. You can see all your activities and the best part is that it gives you medals for everything you do. Finally, it keeps track of your records for the distances you cover. It could have been cheaper, but considering its features, it's worth it

My best purchase for 2021, so far. I have been the owner of this smartwatch for 20 days and I have to say that it is the best in its category. Garmin is knowledgeable in the field of smartwatches and it proves it unquestionably. I bought it for €280, the price is great for the capabilities of this particular smartwatch. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in not only sports activities but also functions like Garmin Pay, which is very helpful.

I am an iPhone owner, so my comments do not concern Android devices.
The Windows Vista and dial-up connection we had years ago worked much better than this device.
I bought it because it was priced the same as the Huawei GT 2 Pro, which was not fully compatible with the iPhone. Also, as a Garmin, I thought it would be much more reliable than the Huawei. However, it does not connect properly to the phone. To install apps, it takes ages, and in the end, the installation may not even happen, and you may have to try again. However, when the installation is done, no one guarantees that the app will remain installed after a restart.
The battery is terrible! It lasts for 5 days if you have all the features turned off and just leave it on the table; otherwise, it barely lasts 2 days!
However, the measurements it takes are quite good and accurate.
My advice is to STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEVICE!

One reason, and the only one, to get it is that you can download music on the spot in memory from services like Spotify. I would give it three stars if the GPS didn't turn off a few days after I bought it for 280 euros. I did a factory reset, it worked for a few days and then the same thing happened again. Many people seem to have this problem with this device. Otherwise, it doesn't measure heart rate with any particular accuracy, like most devices of this type, and its battery is terrible. It definitely isn't worth spending more than a hundred euros. If you want a device for sports activities, get a cheap phone and a heart rate monitor belt.

I have the watch for a week. While it is very good in its measurements, in design, in its functions in general, it needs to be connected to the internet in order to see what you have done while connected with BT to the phone!! In the case of system maintenance, you don't see anything until it is completed!!! In other words, there is no history stored on the phone that works without internet!! Unacceptable for a watch that costs 379 euros, when this doesn't happen in much cheaper ones!!!! Before, I had a Huawei Band 3 Pro for 60 euros and at any moment I could see everything on my phone (even months before) without any connection, everything just transferred to the phone as soon as I finished something!! MONEY WASTED!
Second day of system maintenance-update and the watch-program is dead!!!! It only shows heart rate, time, steps, calories, and instant breath! If you want to see something from previous days, NOTHING!!

I give it 5 stars because overall it is very honest. I have had it for 3 months and I am completely satisfied. Excellent GPS, amazing screen, many functions.

As for the negatives, I would mention the battery that needs to be charged every 4 days on average. Also, that I would like more integrated apps from companies like Nike, Freeletics, etc.

Surely it has the best screen of all the Garmin watches, it also seems to have all the sensors like the 945/fenix6pro but for obvious marketing reasons it is optimized for smartwatch users and not professional athletes. Personally, I think it is the best smartwatch for measurements but definitely not as good as the 945/fenix 6. On the other hand, for 200-300 euros cheaper, it seems to be the best compromise in terms of cost but with all the sensors like the 945/Fenix 6.
Puzzle, 245 music without a barometer? 645 old but good without an oximeter? 945 has it all but it's expensive? Golden ratio venu/vivoactive 4.
The only complaint is its battery, which with always on mode barely lasts more than 2 days, but for example, Apple watches have half the duration. Without always on, you can easily manage 4 days

There is nothing to envy from more expensive brand watches! The only thing it lacks, which is unnecessary for me, is the maps that we all easily do with our mobile phones anyway.
* The two downsides:
a) Charging every 4-6 days with continuous use of HR and 4-5 1.5-hour workouts per week.
b) Complicated stopwatch. Difficulty in calculating rest time with exercise time, there is no easy reset and creating a program like Tabata that previous models had.

IN GENERAL A very user-friendly, sturdy, and beautiful watch! I have it in black so that I can "play" with more colors on its straps.
