Description

Description

The Mousaios Rosé is produced from two local varieties, Xinomavro and Limniona, resulting in a fruity wine. The Chrysostomou family vineyard, Estate Chrysostomou, is located in Pydna (Kitros) Pieria, a place with a tradition in vine cultivation and wine production. They are cultivated on sandy clay slopes and at elevations to benefit from the sea breeze.

In the area surrounded by Mount Olympus to the south, Pieria Mountains to the west, and the sea to the east, an ideal microclimate is formed with mild winters and cool summers with minimal rainfall.

Bright rosé with a rose color and violet shades. Aromatically, the fruity character of Limniona is highlighted on the forefront with notes of blackberry, white flowers, and cassis. With swirling, the palette is complemented by the unfolding presence of Xinomavro with notes of strawberry and sage.

On the palate, full-bodied, with present acidity and a long fruity aromatic aftertaste.
