The D-N150 is aimed at music enthusiasts who wish to play CDs and high-resolution sources in excellent quality. From the NeoClassico II series, the D-N150 combines sound design with exceptional versatility through a 5mm thick aluminum frame, internal components that have been scrutinized through extensive listening tests, and digital coax, optical, and USB inputs for converting hi-res audio to analog sound without restrictions.
The D-N150 inherits the CD transport from Luxman's highly acclaimed D-380. The carefully selected parts include the power transformer, filtering capacitors, Schottky diodes, and proprietary OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) cable. The Texas Instruments PCM5102A digital-to-analog converter facilitates a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB, presenting music with nearly absolute silence in the background.
It features coaxial and optical inputs that accept S/PDIF signals up to 192 kHz/24 bits, while the USB input supports PCM computer signals up to 192 kHz/32 bits. The D-N150 is the first Luxman unit to support Bulk Pet transmission, offering superb sound while reducing processing load on the DAC. The optical output allows the D-N150 to be used as a central DAC hub.
The high-quality aluminum remote controls not only the digital player D-N150 but also the volume on the corresponding SQ-N150 amplifier.
