This is the second one I have. I can't live without it anymore. This particular one had a big problem with synchronization. It was speaking Spanish. In the end, I managed to fix it with a lot of effort and since then it works perfectly.

Minus one star because although it does its job, sometimes it hears what it wants. For example, I say 'Toshiba air-condition on' and instead of turning on the Toshiba air conditioner I have in the living room, it turns on the Hisense air conditioner that my mother-in-law has on the lower floor (which I have included in the Smart home). Someone might ask why I would do that... Well, that's a fair point too.

Very easy settings and installation. So far, it has worked flawlessly with Logitech Harmony, Sonoff Zigbee switches, Xiaomi vacuum and fan, Mitsubishi air conditioner. The only negative I found is that it has lighting only on the top side. So if you have it in a higher position (I have it on the shelf in the living room), you can't see its response to commands when sitting. Other than that, it's great

As a device, it gets 5/5, good microphone, good speaker, good touch. However, it needs improvement in terms of handling.
+Easy connection with compatible devices and applications.
-Does not support (at least for now) Greek, except for commands and in search results where it does not recognize Greek words/names.
-Does not execute complex commands (e.g., "turn off lights AND play spotify").
-Does not hear you with increased noise/voices in the room.
-Requires a bit of accent to respond.

One star is too much because I tried to connect it at least three times, it probably isn't meant for Greece and it was in another language. I couldn't connect it to the devices at all after many hours and many videos on YouTube, I saw that I had to change the phone to another language for it to connect better. Make sure to buy it from a store that it was intended for Greece

Easy to connect love it

The only comparison I have is with the Google Assistant on my phone, but it is miles ahead. It understands commands much more easily and has incredible sensitivity to hear the voice even from other rooms (classic Google). Also, the volume it has as a speaker is impressive; however, the quality is not anything special, and after 70%, it deteriorates more.

Unfortunately, though, now with Gemini on mobile and generally AI assistants, it falls behind in basic questions, so I would recommend it purely for smart home functions

The 1 star is purely and simply due to the price; at around 20-something euros that I got it for 2 years ago, it was an UNBELIEVABLE machine. Now, for some reason, its price has more than tripled, and Google, in the meantime, seems to have abandoned the entire Nest line since at least 2021...

It's terrible, it only works in Spanish and English, and it connects very difficultly; it barely functions as a speaker

For smart home and if you decide to set it up in the Google ecosystem, it's perfect.
I have one in every room.

Besides the commands it has and each one works independently, you can group them all or whichever you want and they can play the same music simultaneously.
You change rooms and listen to music normally.

I got it to compare it with Amazon's Alexa.
Overall, it's the same.
In relation to Alexa:
+ It recognizes the commands you give it better.
+ It's smaller in size.
- It doesn't have Greek, but since we're talking about Google, the likelihood (+) of it being added is greater than Amazon's.
- I couldn't find a way to create a group (e.g., with Wi-Fi lamps) so that when I tell it to turn off all the front lamps or all the lamps in the kitchen, it does it without me having to give commands for each lamp one by one.
- It's very annoying to set up! To manage it, I had to go through a ton of websites.
- It has very complicated settings. You search... you search...
That's it!

Very good. It is not particularly powerful, but up to 80% of the volume it delivers decent sound. For me, a major disadvantage (compared to a similar Sonos - which has clearly better sound) is that it does not have a battery. If it had a battery, I would give it 5*

It helps a lot if you have many smart devices. Easy to connect with the phone. Quite useful, and besides just asking it to turn on the light, it can play music for you, tell you the news. Unfortunately, it does not support Greek. It's a bit of an issue. :(

I have it here for a year, it is the best and worth its money

It's a shame that I can't give negative stars, I would heartily give it -5. Another terrible product from Google. Incredibly problematic to install, even more problematic to connect as a speaker. Constant disconnections despite being on a network of over 30mbit, tested with a repeater and mobile networks, no success. Simply awful.

It is worth its money for sure.
After first connection, it lost connection with my lamps and had to reset if completely, just 30min after first installation. Sometimes it doesn't understand my command of turning the light on and instead it puts music, even though I have perfect English with no accent. But one week since then and still all is good. Maybe a bug, but for the trouble, I give it 4 stars.

Amazing device! Powerful speakers and very fast connection for such a small device. It can even connect to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and you can cast the sound playing on your phone (transferring audio from your phone to the speaker).

Simply incredible!! Small, economical, very easy to use, with endless possibilities!! You constantly discover new functions!! And the sound?! Incredibly good for how small it is!!

Amazing speakers for such a cheap device, no one would expect it. Easy setup and it answers almost all the questions you ask it. It also supports Spotify and TuneIn, you ask it and it plays. But in order to play the song you want, you need to have Spotify Premium.

We connected it to a robot vacuum and a lamp. It does its job well and it can be controlled from a distance (only by my husband though). We play music and the volume is satisfactory.

I decided to try it because of YouTube Music, since Alexa doesn't work and I trusted that everything would work perfectly. It doesn't detect the LG TV, and adjusting the volume using the touch buttons is annoying. It's going to be a gift.

Sometimes it doesn't understand my English. I don't know if it's my pronunciation or not. Anyway, it is fast in response and has a powerful speaker.

I have been using it continuously for a year along with another one. Very good construction, relatively good sound quality considering its size, easy connectivity with compatible devices. Very reliable. Its disadvantages concern the Google Assistant application and are not related to the device itself.

I received it with an English charger, but the store also included a very good adapter for European plug socket... all good, perfect

The best thing I have bought recently.
Alarm clock through Spotify so you don't have your phone next to you all the time.
Integration with TuneIn for radio stations from all over the world (including Greek).
Very easy installation and management through the Google Home app.
Excellent sound, perfect for a small room.
Reminders, calendar, alarms, even random questions like sports.
The only negative thing maybe for some people is that it doesn't accept commands in Greek, but the commands work even with a bad pronunciation.
I will immediately buy a second one to synchronize the sound between rooms.

My choice was to enhance the speakers I have connected to the Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen).

The sound it produces is very nice, just like the Nest Hub, it has the same options but without a screen. You can adjust the bass and treble through the app. The sound is very good, clear, and bass-heavy. What I noticed is that when you turn up the volume quite high, it loses the bass and I have the feeling that the speaker's quality decreases.

Overall, the commands are executed quickly and without any issues.

It has the ability to be mounted on the wall as it has a screw hole.

One detail I noticed is that when it is on the wall and you want to rotate it a little, for example, the alignment with the LEDs may be lost.

Awesome and cheap. Immediate response. Listens immediately, answers immediately, handles devices perfectly. I initially got it alone and then started equipping the house gradually with smart devices that it controls flawlessly.

Excellent. It does exactly what it promises and what previous users have mentioned below. Tremendously high-quality construction, immediate response in any condition, and a very powerful speaker for its size.
