The producers of Grace Gin researched and experimented for twelve months with the recipe, resulting in the 13 botanicals and extraction techniques they would use. Discontinuous distillation was applied to flavor the alcoholic base with the 8 botanicals: Juniper, angelica root, iris root, citrus peels, cardamom, coriander, and Indonesian cinnamon. The aromas of pepper and cinnamon are easily detected on the nose, while myrtle flowers enhance the aromatic complexity. On the palate, the herbaceousness of the juniper and samphire appears immediately, which pleasantly plays with the spicy character of coriander, pink pepper, and cinnamon. There is also notable freshness with earthy elements in the background.
