I have been completely satisfied with the sound quality of everything I have received from this company, including these speakers. As always with Edifier, the sound is well-balanced without pushing the lows or highs too much. The stereo imaging is very good, and the Bluetooth is very convenient when you don't want to turn on your computer (obviously, the codec is not amazing, but it gets the job done), as well as the aux in, as I can have both the audio chip of the motherboard and the USB DAC connected at the same time, which I mainly use for music listening or the USB ASIO sound card.

The speakers have three buttons: two for volume control and one for ON/OFF, as well as for switching between Line-IN and Bluetooth. It does not have a rotating volume knob or any other boost frequency button or remote control; all other settings are adjusted from the audio source (computer, amplifier, smartphone, etc.).

The only thing that worries me a little is that the cables are integrated into the speakers, so if something ever gets damaged or cut, it will be more of a hassle to replace, especially if the damage occurs at the connection.

Another honest recommendation from Edifier.

Let's start with the following: these speakers were advertised as studio monitors, but they are not. You can't compete with higher-end speakers at a price of 90 euros per pair. I have worked with my colleague's Yamaha HS5 and the sound is flat. I would classify the Edifier speakers in the category of computer speakers. Knowing this, I didn't expect to use them for the mixing/mastering work I do (I have the DT 770 Pro headphones for that, which have an exceptionally flat sound).

BUT. I am impressed by the sound! And I actually use them for studio monitors as well - although they have a strange bump around 6000 Hz. Other than that, they are quite flat and can work for this purpose.

With that being said, I will evaluate them as computer (or TV) speakers. Their sound is AMAZING. Deep bass (especially considering they are 2.0), strong mids, and excellent clarity in the highs (thanks to their tweeters). I enjoy them a lot for both music and movies. They are very good up to 85% of their volume - and they can get very loud for a room. So, for their job as entertainment speakers that don't take up much space (e.g. if you have a 2.1 system and need to place the woofer somewhere), they perform exceptionally well. However, this only applies to the jack connection.

Their Bluetooth is more of a gimmick than something you would want to use regularly. There is noticeable lag and the sound quality in this function is noticeably inferior. Also, in Bluetooth mode, you cannot adjust the volume from your phone and you have to adjust it from the speakers themselves (although if you have them set at the desired volume, this won't bother you). However, am I glad they have Bluetooth? Yes - because I might want to listen to a podcast while doing other tasks and move around without any problem. Or if you bring a girl home and want to change the music without getting up all the time. So, if someone is looking for speakers to use permanently with Bluetooth, then stay away. But for me, who wants good speakers that I can occasionally use with Bluetooth, they are ideal.

On top, they have 3 buttons - 1 to power on/off and 2 for volume control. To power them on/off, you have to press the button for 2 seconds - it's not a switch that you simply press and it responds automatically. The volume has 30 levels - I constantly have it at 27 and change it from the computer to adjust how loud I want it to be (usually I have it at 10-15% on the computer). However, as I mentioned, if I switch to Bluetooth mode, the volume on my phone doesn't count and I have to remember to lower it on the speakers themselves.

In conclusion, the speakers are not as convenient and easy to manage in terms of controls, and their Bluetooth is more for effects. But I bought them for their sound quality, and they are exceptional in that aspect. The white design with the yellow circles is also aesthetically pleasing. They are definitely worth the 90 euros. I would buy them again.
