Unfortunately, Uniroyal stopped producing the RainSport 3 SSR Runflat, which for me and the car I have (BMW E87) were excellent partners to transport me with absolute safety, and the car never slipped out, not even on dry roads, let alone on wet ones, which was the strong point of these tires.
Rating RainSport 3 SSR Runflat, 10/10 easily.

So, out of necessity, 4 months ago I fitted the ordinary Uniroyal RainSport 5 to see how the partnership would go. Compared to the RainSport 3 Runflat, there is an improvement in noise and in harshness, which is logical. Fuel consumption dropped by almost 1 liter/100 km with the RainSport 5, but in terms of road grip we have an issue...
Being used to the previous ones, here there is no 100% certainty in corners and the steering needs small corrections to get the car into the right trajectory, and we're talking about a rear-wheel-drive, heavy, and factory-lowered car. Let me clarify that I'm not saying I take corners at full throttle, but you could tell that the chassis is leaving the road..

    Rating RainSport 5, 08/10 and we'll see..
