Connected to Home Assistant, it controls a ceiling fan along with lights. It is naturally trainable, but it allows you to record the commands within Home Assistant, so you don't even need its software to operate it.

The reason I got them is so I wouldn't have disconnections like I had with the air conditioner app, which kept disconnecting and needed either to be set up again or unplugged. In this regard, the RM4 mini is excellent; after a week, not a single disconnection and with very good range, unlike the remote controls where you have to go right up to them.

The reason I don't give it 5/5 is how difficult it is to connect to wifi for the first time. I tried all the methods, including scanning, but the connection kept failing. After failing 15 times, I was ready to return it, but I saw at the very bottom of the menu "General Wifi device," which worked. After that, I set up my Toyotomi-Gree air conditioners and Samsung TV in 2 minutes.

If it doesn't find the specific brand, try something else. For example, for me, it worked the Fuji on Fujitsu General and the Nordstar on Funi, and it works perfectly and without any problems. The TV, which is a 2025 model, was found immediately.

Incredible tool, I have connected everything in the house with IR, pellet stove, TV, air conditioner, TV box, amplifier. If you can't find the device in the menu, you can do it manually very easily and simply. I would suggest that you also buy the thermometer/hygrometer together. You can choose, for example, to have the air conditioner turn on if the temperature drops to 15°C and turn off whenever you want or turn it off yourself, and many more.

If you also buy the temperature and humidity sensor from the same company, you can run scenarios such as turning on the air conditioner at a certain temperature or the fan, etc. Be careful with the programming of the devices. It works with all the remote controls I have tried. Good coverage in the room even when it is at the other end of the room. It always responds correctly and without disconnections, everything is fine. I bought a second one too.

I added all the available devices effortlessly and without difficulty, it works perfectly with the company's app and also collaborates with Google Assistant by giving it voice commands. It requires a lot of searching, especially if the connected device is not in the database. It needs proper setup, particularly with air conditioners!! Other than that, and provided you purchase the (extra) cable with the temperature/humidity sensor, it becomes a very worthwhile and discreet internet wireless controller

The air conditioners I wanted to control are not on the list, I set it to learn the frequencies but I wasn't completely satisfied. So I put in some of the well-known brands and it worked. Easily. I found that the frequencies used by my air conditioners are also used by many other companies. So with very little searching, all good!!!

In terms of hardware, it is very good. The database it has for devices is so-so; most of them need to be learned button by button. Of course, that's how it is for everything.

If you want it for home assistant, don't bother trying to add devices to its app; HA won't see them. Just connect it to the wifi and add the devices to HA. Not even SmartIR helped me; I learned everything manually and created custom cards. It took half a day, but it was worth the effort.

Perfect, it does everything smart (whatever you take to your home remote), but be careful if you are using some intermediate device after the router (mesh), it doesn't find it because it needs to run on 2.4 and not on 5

Very good at its job. I used it on an air conditioner, amplifier, and television. Even on the old air conditioner, I managed to create commands to turn it on and change the temperature. I also got the cable that shows the temperature (not provided: Broadlink HTS2 Temperature and Humidity Sensor USB Cable 6 and something euros) and I made start and end programs. Also, it has a strong signal.

Extremely user-friendly and a very cheap and reliable solution for devices that do not connect directly to the internet. Personally, I use it for a Fujitsu air conditioner and it has been a game changer when I want to operate it remotely. I have also connected it with a Samsung TV and MAG TV box. I highly recommend it.

I got it for €15 so I could control an old air conditioner from a distance, and it not only does that but also integrated into Google Home to work in routines, and all the infrared devices in the house were added. A big plus is that it works in the same room even without direct line of sight. Very convenient, and the learning feature allows you to set multiple functions in one, but this only works in its own app, not in Google Home.

Very good! The setup via mobile app is super easy. The connection with a Fujitsu air conditioner over 15 years old took a bit longer, as the pre-defined profiles were not functional. In the end, it prompted me to beam the control to the hub, and it recognized it immediately, with all functions operational. I also got the extra USB cable with the temperature/humidity sensor - excellent addition.

Flawless, works perfectly. Note that if the air conditioner is controlled both by remote control and by the hub, then the hub does not know its status. This is a big problem if the air conditioner has the same command for opening and closing, so when you tell the hub to close it, it opens it because it was already closed.

I got it for devices that do not have WiFi and I wanted to open them remotely, such as the air conditioner! I have put several devices on it and it works perfectly! So far, flawless! If you buy it, get the power cable that has a temperature sensor on it.. And this counts well and helps in operations! For my taste, it is beautiful in appearance although I would like it to come out in silver color too! Its size is much smaller than the photos show!
