The company is one of the oldest in its field and undoubtedly all the hairdressers I go to recommend Kerastase. It lasts even after straightening, the scent is so-so and the texture afterwards is not perfect but that's logical since it's a heat protectant which means it has ingredients to protect you up to 220 degrees, so who cares about that, what matters is the protection

I consider it an expensive choice without providing good thermal protection. I concluded this if you do the classic test where you dip a cotton swab into the material and try to burn it. The cotton swab with this specific material burned very easily! While another one with a corresponding cheap product from the supermarket did not burn!

It helped a lot with straightening. It also stopped the frizzing with straightening using just a simple brush (without a straightener).

The truth is, I don't know the results for thermal protection. What I noticed after the first application is that my hair has a strange texture after drying, not the one it had before (soft, smooth). The smell of it is quite strong. Personally, I didn't like it because it reminds me of something anti-dandruff
