  • At first glance, everything seems fine. The same speeds as the one that came with the hard drive, no power issues with the 2.5" HDD. I have seen similar cables with shorter connectors, but we are talking about a 150cm cable anyway and not something small and discreet.

  • I was trying to transfer files to a 4TB WD and it was giving errors. Before I threw the disk away, I decided to change the cable. That was it.. with 3-4€ I got the job done.. as for performance, from usb3 to usb3 on a Dell with an i5 processor, 90mb/s

  • For me, at least, it did not reach over 40 to 42 MBytes/s in recording. I tried it on two computers. Desktop and laptop, both in USB 3 ports. The result is the same. I tried with other USB 3 cables that I have and reached over 100 MBytes/s (in recording always) with those as shown in one of the images.

  • It works perfectly.
One small issue that I don't know if it's related to the cable: if it is removed abruptly (without ejecting) from a Mac, afterwards the hard drive it is connected to doesn't make contact and someone has to repair it on a PC.
