Description

The single left hernia truss with a stable pad is recommended for the temporary treatment of hernia. An abdominal wall hernia is an opening or weakness in the muscle structure of the abdominal wall, with the peritoneum protruding and causing bulging of the abdominal wall. This bulging is usually more noticeable when the abdominal muscles tighten.

Approximately 10% of the population will develop a hernia in their lifetime. Hernias can occur in anyone, including infants, children, and adults, with the majority occurring in men.

The most common site for hernias is the groin (inguinal hernias). Various types of hernia, such as oblique, direct, and femoral hernias, can coexist in the groin area. Another category of hernia is the ventral hernia, which occurs along the midline of the abdomen, and umbilical hernias that arise through the navel.

Predisposing factors for hernia development include:

  • Congenital predisposition
  • Advanced age
  • Poor nutrition
  • Heavy smokers
  • Obesity
  • Constipation
  • Chronic cough
  • Heavy manual labor
  • Multiple pregnancies
  • Abdominal injuries or post-surgery

Features of the single left hernia truss:

  • Elastic straps with strong support
  • Pad on the left
  • Frontal triangular frame with integrated stable and anatomical pad
  • Side closure with adjustable buckle with velcro
  • Hernia retention and comfort in movement

Available sizes:

  • S: Waist circumference 90-95 cm
  • M: Waist circumference 95-100 cm
