After 1 year of use, I deposit my experience by helping as much as I can.
I will start with the negatives and the first one is not the battery, it is the front camera at night in any resolution and under any lighting conditions, it is simply terrible...
The battery is the second negative of the phone, it doesn't last a day naturally in any case, whether you have it at 2k or 120 refresh rate.
The positive thing is that it charges very quickly with its charger, so I don't have a headache with that, but I constantly need access to a charger, which can be an issue if you work outside.
The third negative is the temperature of the phone, which even at -5, if you record a video or simply watch a video, it rises quite a bit.
Shall we talk about the positives?
It is a phone that costs almost €1000.
The screen, sound, speed, call quality, video and photo quality from the main camera are simply outstanding. After 1 year, the phone is still in a new condition without much care.
It is expensive, I bought it without VAT for €680, so I think it's okay at this price...
One last thing regarding the fingerprint on the screen, they say it works flawlessly from the beginning and now compared to the OnePlus 8 Pro, which I have to wake up and unlock the screen, it is faster.

Because on the one hand, the mobile has been on the market for 7 months, so you already know the basic features, and on the other hand, there has been a lot of hate (rightfully or wrongfully, I will analyze it below).

- THE LOVE TO HATE EXYNOS 990 -

Unpopular opinion: The Exynos 990 is a good processor. No, I'm not crazy, and I'm not saying this because of Samsung. For those who don't know, the damage to the chip is caused by the GPU. The Mali GPU that provides graphics to the Exynos is clearly inferior to the Adreno of the Snapdragon, resulting in lower FPS and higher temperatures in games. This will be proven in the collaboration between Samsung and AMD, where suddenly the Exynos will rise as a chip.

You might ask, why should I care? Am I getting worse results than the S20 with the Snapdragon? In everyday use, the difference is negligible. In games, definitely, so if gaming matters to you, go for the S20 FE 5G with Snapdragon/Adreno. In all other aspects, the S20+ is better than the S20 FE 5G, even with the Exynos 990.

- WILL I BOIL AN EGG ON THE S20+? -

No, I don't intend to drive crazy those who wrote about overheating issues. They existed. Past tense. After two consecutive updates in October, the phone is clearly cooler than ever. Extended use, multitasking, games, 8K videos. In some cases, you might feel it getting warmer, but within reasonable limits, just like with other phones. The excessive overheating issues are a thing of the past. You can search and check on technology sites to confirm what I'm saying.

- BATTERY FROM LIDL? -

To be honest and sincere with you, the Snapdragon variant offers about 10-15% more battery life, which translates to about 40 minutes of additional Screen On Time (SOT).

The battery is neither terrible nor flagship-level. In the photo I have attached, you can see the average times I get. More than 7 hours of SOT with 120Hz permanently set! The only intervention I made was to restrict some background apps. With 60Hz, the SOT would definitely increase, but it doesn't bother me. So, it's definitely not a battery to throw away.

- ANY COMPLAINTS? -

One complaint is that I would have liked the battery to be even better, considering that the competition (e.g., iPhone 11 Pro Max, Huawei P40 Pro) manages to last for two days without charging.

The other complaint is that Samsung should have found a way to offer 120Hz at the maximum resolution (WQHD+). The competition (OnePlus 8 Pro) has done it, and even with your own screens. So, it's possible.

In conclusion, this is a very good device that didn't deserve the initial price tag it had, but it's worth the current price. I felt it as an upgrade, even coming from the S10.

I have had the phone for 1.5 weeks and I believe I am able to evaluate it. Let's start with the cameras, which are very good during the day, but struggle at night. However, the photos are not bad. The s20 plus has an amazing AMOLED display, one of the best, with 120 Hz. It is perfect for watching videos and movies on this screen. As for the sound, the phone excels with very good stereo speakers. At full volume, they might sound a bit shrill, but you won't need to use the full volume because they are very loud and clear. Now, for the negatives, the phone has a very fast processor but it is extremely power-hungry to the point where the device overheats. The battery level decreases significantly (with heavy usage at 120 Hz, it's difficult for me to last a day) and after a while, the device's battery will decrease quite a bit, all because of the Exynos990. It's really unacceptable that we don't have Snapdragon in Europe. I recommend it for light usage, but for heavier usage, it won't leave you satisfied at all. Personally, I will sell it

Good evening!! I will try with my opinion on the Samsung S20 Plus, to help people who are searching for a mobile phone. So, I bought the phone 2 weeks ago. I did a lot of research on its features. I would have bought the Huawei Mate 30 or the Huawei P30 Pro. However, due to the issue that has arisen with Google, since no one knows the developments, I decided to get the Samsung!! And unfortunately, I regretted it! I bought the phone for 660 from Skroutz, compared to around 1000 from other stores. The phone is not worth 1000 or 660. It is a very good phone, but it does not justify the cost. There are much cheaper phones that are better.

The negatives then...
1. The fingerprint scanner is slow... it keeps telling you to hold your finger longer... come on...
2. The photos during the day are very good!! But at night and in low light conditions, the result is very bad. And generally, depending on the lighting, sometimes it has a very fake result.
3. The video is not good at all. (and if it's due to some setting, I didn't change anything, if it changes on its own, what can I say)

So if I could go back in time, I would get a HUAWEI with or without the Play Store!!

Upgrading from Galaxy s9 to s20+ I consider the leap to be quite big.
The major advantages are the qhd+ screen at 1200nits brightness, 90% screen to ratio, and of course the 120hz (at 2400x1080) which is ultra smooth.
The camera is very good but slightly behind the competition, for example the p40 pro.
The photos are clear, the wide lens has minimal distortion, and the night mode is extremely improved and useful. Depending on how much lux of brightness you will be shooting, the time varies, the maximum I have seen is 30 seconds.
Personally, I think the telephoto camera is a bit of a gimmick, I played around with it a bit but in the real world it's difficult to use the 10x or 30x zoom, still, the bokeh effect is awesome.
The battery so far lasts around 6 to 6.30 hours of screen on time with full usage at 120hz, which is satisfactory for me.
The ui 2.1 is a bit loaded but personally I consider it one of the best on Android devices, although in the end it's a matter of personal taste.
Samsung always had the best all-around flagship phones and this is no exception.
The s20+ does everything exceptionally well but there are other devices that are a bit ahead in various aspects, everyone chooses what suits them.
A major complaint is that we don't get the same global phone, it's possible that the Snapdragon version has better battery management but the photos from the Exynos 990 have better image processing.
At the moment, I have the August 1st update and everything runs perfectly.
Purchasing it for 680 euros is more than worth it, for those of you who are considering it, go ahead.

Everyone has written about the positives of the mobile phone..however, in my opinion, the mobile phone should be compared to other phones in the same category..buying the p40 pro reveals the big difference it has in terms of battery and charging. The s20 plus takes too long to charge and its battery is mediocre to bad..there's no need to say anything about the camera, the camera of the p40 pro is incredible and there is no comparison between the front and back cameras. The speaker is good and loud, but when it's at a high volume, the whole phone vibrates as if it's going to fall apart.. The screen has always been Samsung's strong point, but now it has nothing to be proud of since many companies have caught up and everyone now uses OLED screens. In my opinion, the screen of the p40 Pro and oneplus 8pro is equally impressive, if not better... 120hz in FHD resolution.. 120hz in 4k resolution for oneplus 8pro, with possibly better battery and much faster charging. I should also mention that it did get warm several times, but lightly. In my opinion, it's more of the same for another year, a small improvement in the areas that were already good and no improvement in the rest. The company no longer offers anything extra unfortunately, even in terms of appearance, the phone with its colors and back surface doesn't have anything special, obviously it is an all-around good phone with a good camera and I can say I found it faster than ever, they have greatly improved the UI, but there is no area where you can say it made a breakthrough.

First of all, let's talk about the processor... It ranks 2nd in untutu and its speed is very satisfactory, and with the help of the 120hz it flies... You enjoy seeing this amazing screen... Let's move on to the camera, which has nothing to envy from other flagship phones at this price (much better than mi 10, xs max, iphone 11, etc.) and I believe that compared to the 3 flagship phones I mentioned earlier, it excels in all camera criteria (telephoto, night mode, portrait, etc.) And finally, the battery (saving the best for last), well, with a 120hz screen it is a bit average... But otherwise, it doesn't have the problem of needing urgent charging after 3-4 hours (and I'm someone who plays a lot of PUBG) okay, it will drop from 100% to 40-50% in 3 hours, but you don't despair... It has 25W which will take you from 50% to 70% in 12 minutes... (no comments, it has been tested) anyway, I hope I helped...

*** The processor heats up after 2.5 hours, but not excessively, as soon as it starts heating up, it has a built-in function that brings it back to normal stages!

Μετά το LG V30 (με μπαταρία 3300mah) περίμενα το S20+ με 4500mah να τα πάει πολύ καλύτερα. Αν το συγκρίνω με καινούριο το V30 σίγουρα δεν έχουν διαφορά σε μπαταρία. Μετά απο 2 χρόνια όμως το V30 άρχισε να κουράζεται και έτσι διαπίστωσα διαφορά όταν πήρα το S20+. Τελικά με την βαριά χρήση που του κάνω βγάζω περίπου 4 με 5 ώρες screen on time. Με λίγα λόγια αν θες να χρησιμοποιείς το τηλέφωνο στο φουλ θες μια μικρή φόρτιση ενδιάμεσα στην μέρα. Στα θετικά η οθόνη του είναι πολύ καλή. στον ήλιο βλέπεις ανετα και τα χρώματα είναι ζωντανά. Όταν κάποιος δει αυτή την οθόνη μετά τα άλλα του φαίνονται φτωχα. Η μεγαλύτερη διαφορά είναι στα 120fps της οθόνης. Μετά απο μια βδομάδα χρήσης του S20+ το σύγκρινα με το iphone 11 pro max και πονούσαν τα μάτια μου απο τα σκαλώματα των 60fps!!! Τραγική διαφορά. Aν πας στα 120 δεν έχεις επιστροφή. Και δυστυχώς γιατί τα 120fps σου τρώνε 1 με 2 ώρες screen on time! Αν δηλαδή δεν είχε 120Fps θα μιλούσα για την καλύτερη αυτονομία που έχω δει σε κινητό , αλλά δεν μπορούμε να τα έχουμε και όλα. Ή αυτονομία ή οθονάρα με 120FPS. Υπάρχει ένα hack (εύκολο) στο XDA με το οποίο ενεργοποιείς 96FPS με αποτέλεσμα να έχεις και καλή αυτονομία και καλή ανανέωση.
Στην φωτογραφία δεν κατάφερα ακόμα να το ζορίσω , αλλά σε μια γρήγορη σύγκριση με το παλιό μου LG V30 δεν είδα διαφορά. Αυτό μην τρομάξει πολλούς γιατί το V30 είναι ένα ΠΟΛΥ υποτιμημένο κινητό με κάμερα καλύτερη απο όλα τα κινητά της εποχής του , ΑΡΚΕΙ να ξέρεις να το δουλεύεις . Δεν ήταν point and shoot .
Το μεγαλύτερο αρνητικό του κινητού όμως δεν είναι η αναμονή του, αλλά ο επεξεργαστής του. Ο οποίος καταναλώνει και περισσότερο απο τον SD865 που φοράει το S20+ σε όλο τον κόσμο εκτός απο την Ευρώπη.
Ο επεξεργαστής ζεσταίνεται αρκετά. Σε απλές λειτουργίες (FB, Insta, Youtube, Chrome, κτλ) μετά απο 10 λεπτά ζεσταίνεται . Ο SD835 του LG V30 δεν είχε ζεσταθεί ΠΟΤΕ ότι και να του έκανα. Η θερμοκρασία φυσικά σημαίνει throttling (μείωση απόδοσης) και μεγαλύτερη κατανάλωση μπαταρίας. ΛΕΝΕ ότι μελλοντικά θα μειωθούν αυτά τα φαινόμενα , αν και δεν το πιστεύω. Όπως και να'χει το κινητό είναι άψογο σε ήχο απο τα ηχεία του , οι κλήσεις είναι μια χαρά και γενικά δεν έχω προβλήματα απλά είμαι απαιτητικός όταν δίνω πάνω απο 700€ και σας αναφέρω που στράβωσα.
Η ποιότητα κατασκευής του είναι καταπληκτική, τα ακουστικά της συσκευασίας ευχάριστη έκπληξη με απίστευτη ποιότητα .
Σε αυτά τα λεφτά νομίζω προσφέρει ένα πολύ καλό πακέτο που θα ικανοποιήσει σε πολλά, και θα απογοητεύσει σε λίγα . Ξέρετε στις ναυαρχίδες πάντα υπάρχουν τομείς που απογοητευόμαστε γιατί τις ναυαρχίδες τις επιλέγουν αυτοί που θέλουν ΤΟΠ επιδώσεις σε όλους τους τομείς. Αν κάποιος πάρει ένα ΧΙΑΟΜΙ redmi 8 φυσικά θα πει μου αρέσουν όλα και θα είναι πολύ ικανοποιημένος σε όλους τους τομείς αφού επιλέγει κάτι καλό χωρίς να ζητάει το τέλειο. Μόνο αν σε κάποιον τομέα είναι τραγικό σε σημείο να είναι μη λειτουργικό θα απογοητευτεί απο ένα midrange κινητό. Οπότε σχετικά με τα παράπονα των ναυαρχίδων να είστε λίγο επιφυλακτικοί. κάνουμε παράπονα γιατί το τέλειο για αυτούς που αγοράζουν ναυαρχίδες είναι πάνω απο τις δυνάμεις της εταιρίας.

ΥΓ. Κάτι που βοηθάει πολύ στην αυτονομία είναι να παρατηρείτε στο τέλος της ημέρας στο μενού φροντίδα συσκευής-> μπαταρία -> χρήση μπαταρίας, και να βλέπετε τι κατανάλωση κάνουν οι εφαρμογές στο παρασκήνιο. Αν δείτε ας πουμε μια εφαρμογή που λειτουργήσατε 1 λεπτό να σας έχει φάει πολύ μπαταρία μέσα στην ημέρα και να λειτουργούσε στο παρασκήνιο, να πάτε στο μενού"διαχείριση εφαρμογών" και να βάλετε αρχικά τις υποπτες για κατανάλωση εφαρμογές στην κατηγορία "εφαρμογές σε πλήρη αδράνεια. Αν μετά απο αυτό διαπιστώσετε προβλήματα (πχ. δεν έρχονται ειδοποιήσεις κτλ) βγάλτε την απο εκεί και βάλτε την στην κατηγορία "εφαρμογές σε αδράνεια". Να ελέγχετε με τον παραπάνω τρόπο και τις καινούριες εφαρμογές που εγκαθιστάτε και να κάνετε την διαδικασία ξανά.

I come from s7 edge and I was searching for a long time what mobile to buy. The fact that many people say that it doesn't have a good battery and that the Exynos processors are not good compared to Snapdragon processors made me think. This fact, combined with the fact that with the same money I could buy an iPhone or one plus, as I mentioned before, put me in a lot of thoughts about which mobile to choose.
Finally, I decided and bought the s20+ for subjective reasons. The external design, the design, and the reliability of Samsung attracted me (I never had any complaints with the s7 edge). Also, for this money, Samsung offers better features compared to Apple (iPhone 11) (bigger screen, 4 cameras, etc.)
Now, about the mobile.
I am completely satisfied. It has a very good screen, takes excellent photos, performs well in gaming, and has very good sound quality and volume. I am also satisfied with the battery because it lasts for 1 and a half day even with heavy gaming use. Okay, if you don't leave it in your hand all day, maybe the battery will last for 1 day, but it's still great with such usage. Also, one reason I went for the s20+ instead of the s20 is that the s20+ has a better battery.
In summary: you enjoy the mobile 100% when playing games, watching movies or videos, and listening to music because of the screen, colors, and resolution it has.
Because the mobile has a 6.7-inch screen, it is quite big and requires a second hand to use it, and when carrying it, I prefer to put it in a bag rather than in a tight pants pocket.
(I intentionally got it this big for gaming and videos.)

I chose the S20+ to replace the S9+. I am mainly interested in mobile photography. So, for comparison, I took many identical photos with both the old S9+ and the new one. In very low light conditions and without night mode on either of the two, the S9+ takes photos with less noise. However, when night mode is activated on both, for some reason the S20 easily surpasses it. This is achieved by holding the phone as steady as possible. When I put both phones on a tripod in very low light with night mode, the S20 is light years ahead of the S9+. This is because the phone recognizes that it is very stable, resulting in a longer exposure time and therefore less noise.

Now, in terms of zoom, during the day with good lighting, there are no noticeable differences up to 3x zoom. Beyond that, the S20+ takes the lead and produces very satisfactory photos for social media up to 5x zoom, and if one is not too demanding, even up to 10x zoom comfortably. It also allows zooming with night mode, but for some reason, it only switches to the zoom lens with f2 at 10x zoom. In other words, with 9x zoom and night mode, it will capture using the main lens. Night mode with the wide lens is also possible, and with a tripod, one can achieve amazing results.

It has slightly better HDR, nothing extraordinary, but a major negative for me is the automatic processing it does on photos. Excessive contrast and saturation. Some people may like it, as the photos look very cool, but they are not objective. For example, in slightly hazy midday conditions, it automatically adds a super blue sky...

As for the sound, for electronic music with bass, the S20+ has less bass than the S9+, and I compared them with the equalizer set to normal on both phones. Even with adjustments, the S9+ is still superior. There is a slight difference, but it exists.

Yes, the screen is incredibly top-notch, you can't get enough of looking at it. The 120Hz is great, but very few applications currently support it, and I mainly enjoy it when I'm in the phone's menu. Unfortunately, it's not adaptive 120, like the OnePlus 8 Pro, which lowers the frequency to 60 when an application doesn't support 120. As a result, it consumes a lot of power when using it at 120. I would say it's about 30% more power-hungry.

The AKG headphones that come with it have a USB-C connector. The phone did not come with a case in the package, but it did come with a screen protector, which I will remove soon. I have never used a screen protector for years and have never had scratches on my screen. Of course, I take care of it though.

I chose this specific phone for the following reasons:
1. It has one of the best screens in the world, with Dynamic AMOLED technology and a brightness of 1342 nits. It is the most accurate color display ever measured by the Display Mate team, and it performs incredibly well at 120hz. It also has Gorilla Glass 6 protection and is not as curved as previous models, which makes accidental touches less frequent.
2. The sound quality is very clear, one of the best I have heard on a phone. Even at maximum volume, it remains excellent both with headphones and in speaker mode. Overall, the sound is very good.
3. Many people overlook the SAR value, but this phone has very low radiation levels, with a SAR value of 0.38 for the head and 1.57 for the body.
4. The Exynos 990 processor requires some optimization through updates, especially in terms of temperature and battery performance. The other version with Snapdragon 865 works better outside of Europe at the moment, but I believe they will improve it as it is still early. In everyday use, it works very fast and without any issues.
5. The battery doesn't last long at 120hz, but with the updates it will improve significantly. Samsung is known for optimizing their devices over time, so a little patience is required. Additionally, it is so smooth at 120hz that I never expected to see an Android phone smoother than an iPhone. It also charges very quickly.
6. The camera has great detail, especially with the 64-megapixel lens. The video quality at 4k 60fps is really good, and it can also shoot 8k videos, although it requires a steady hand and takes up a large amount of storage. Overall, the cameras on high-end phones are very close in terms of quality, with some being better than others in certain aspects.
Overall, I believe that the S20 Plus, due to the reasons mentioned above, combined with its convenient size, sturdy build, and lightweight design (186g), is a very good purchase and has nothing to envy from the more expensive Ultra model, except for the zoom capabilities. The phone is still in its early stages, with an upcoming camera update that we haven't received yet, and the battery performance will improve significantly. Samsung is a reputable company with top-notch devices on the market, such as the Note 10 Plus. If you can be a little patient, the battery performance will improve and everything will be fine. In general, it is a phone that has the complete package and will only get better in the future.
