Good product, a bit slow in responses compared to the 5rd, but worth buying for 31 euros... purchased two years ago for 40 and something... just make sure to check if the power supply has an adapter or if it is EU plug

Amazing product, connects easily with other devices! Provides tremendous convenience in everyday tasks such as cooking, reminding you of anything you need! I will definitely make the most of it in my home. Great value for money.

If you know what you want and what you need, the product is excellent. It's not the flagship of the series, but it's a very good value for money choice for a room. Easy connection, satisfactory sound quality, many useful features. It's worth it.

If you want to listen to music, don't get it. You have to pay every month to listen to music from Amazon and not YouTube. To play music from another phone (not the one you made the connections with) via Bluetooth, forget it.... I have no opinion if it is useful to control other compatible devices.

It is very disappointing for a company like Amazon to release Alexa, which can hardly understand anything. It is a lousy AI device as it does not understand any question almost. Do not be fooled by videos on YouTube, they have no relation.

Very good product worth its money

Very good product.
Decent sound, unless someone has HiFi or High End requirements, in which case it falls short.
The microphone is amazing with very good sensitivity, it can hear you if you speak loudly and from behind a closed door in the next room, and it executes commands, which unfortunately (due to Amazon) lack the Greek language!
Seriously, how far behind are we...

I have managed to have smart applications cooperate with Alexa in a house without special wiring, using simple and inexpensive devices connected to Wifi.

I cannot compare it to the 4th generation, as I do not have it in my hands, but stay tuned for developments.

I recommend it without reservation.

In everything better than Google, I have both, just if you are going somewhere, go with Alexa, with closed eyes

I have had it for over 1.5 years and I will never part with it. IT IS UNIQUE. I have done incredible routines and it controls everything. It is also worth it as a room speaker. If you don't speak English, don't buy it. It is an essential piece for a Smart home.

Με κλειστά μάτια αξίζει κάθε ευρώ. Πείρα και την 4 gen και μακράν είναι καλύτερη η 3gen. Καλός καθαρός ήχος συμπαθητικό μπάσο ακούει πολύ καλά και κάνεις ότι μπορείς να φανταστείς σε συνδυασμό με έξυπνες συσκευές. Η τέλεια επιλογή για φωνητική βοηθό στο σπίτι.

I was torn between the 3rd & 4th generation, but after reading the reviews, I ended up choosing this one due to its shape preference. It was much smaller than expected for me, but the sound is awesome for its size. It definitely doesn't replace a big speaker or sound system, but it is satisfactory for music in the room. Its microphone is amazing as it "hears" voice commands from a distance of 3 rooms!

I got it today, Reliable, perfect in its use, very easy connection, many functions. It's worth its money.

I got the Alexa and I have no complaints at all. It connects perfectly with the app and doesn't freeze at all. It responds immediately to my voice commands and does everything perfectly. It has saved me. I recommend you to get it.

Ειναι καλο, φτανει να ξερεις λιγα αγγλικα, απαντα σε ωρα ,ημερομηνια , εγκυκλοπεδικες γνωσεις, παιζει σταθμους, υπενθημιζει ραντευου, ξυπνητιρι, και αναβει εξυπνες λσμπες με φωνητικες εντολες. Φυσικα αυτα που ειπα ειναι το 5% των δυνατοτητων του.

It is a very elegant device with very good sound and decent volume for home use.
On the downside, it does not work without electricity and overall, Amazon Music and all the other services are paid.
It can play radio nicely and keep time for cooking or exercising

I give it five stars, but I don't like that it has a power cord from America. It should have had a European one. Other than that, everything is perfect. I highly recommend it...!!!

Anyone wondering if Alexa or Google Home is better, I will answer you shortly. I have been experimenting for half a year with Alexa (both on the speaker you see in the picture and as a digital assistant on my phone) and with Google's digital assistant on my phone. It is very useful, it tells the news, the weather, plays music, is compatible with smart home devices, and overall it is an undoubtedly good product. However, what I have noticed is that many questions I asked Google, Alexa did not answer, and overall the user experience with Google is much friendlier and helpful. I emphasize that I am simply stating a personal opinion and someone may have a different opinion than mine, but in my opinion, Google's work is unquestionably better than Alexa's (note that I have been doing this test between the two home assistants for half a year).

It is good but it restricts you a lot because you need to have many applications that only work with Amazon. Also, unfortunately, in Greece, it does not support collaboration with Spotify, Netflix, and others, so you cannot connect or listen to music from them... It directs you back to Amazon Music, which is also a bit lacking compared to Spotify. Alexa is very good for basic use, but if you want more utilization in Greece, you still can't... but overall, it's a good speaker, clear voice, everything is fine, decent I would say, easily connects with Bluetooth, etc. All good, time will tell...

Although I'm not very tech-savvy, the entire app was relatively easy.
It requires good English skills to work with it.

I have it connected to a Philips hue system and a smart washing machine and television. Of course, it only speaks English.
You can automate commands. For example, with Alexa music. To open a specific music application and play a specific station.

It takes a little time to set it up at first, but it's worth its money, especially with smart devices at home

Στην Ελλάδα δεν το αξιοποιείς στο 100%, λίγο γιατί δεν δουλεύουμε τόσο πολύ το Spotify και το Amazon, λίγο του ότι τα Αγγλικά δεν είναι η μητρική μας γλώσσα το καταδικάζουν να το λειτουργούμε απλά σαν speaker και για φωνητικό έλεγχο IP διακοπτών και λαμπών.
Ακόμα και αν το πάρεις αποκλειστικά για αυτό όμως αξίζει τον κόπο.
Εγώ το χρησιμοποιώ και για να μου υπενθυμίζει πράγματα.

Excellent gadget. It does not speak Greek. It requires electricity to function. Without wifi and internet connection, its hands are cut off and it cannot operate as desired. If you get it for smart functions, it has plenty of them. I use it daily and it has been a lifesaver. I don't know why I didn't have it for so long. I strictly use it as a simple alarm clock and nothing else, a waste of money. I would buy it again with some reservations though, just to not be completely absolute, right?

I have had the Amazon Echo Dot for a year now and I have to say it is a waste of money. In Greece, you cannot have certain features that they have in England, and unlike the Google Home, you have to pay for an Amazon Music subscription to play music. Also, from my own experience, I found it very difficult to set up through the app. In my opinion, if you want something like this, get the Google Home, it is noticeably better compared to Alexa

Very interesting product with many capabilities if you can also do your own skills .... very immediate response to voice commands.

Much better than Google. It does not work with Xiaomi's smarthome or Yeelight bulbs. Also, when asked about traffic, it gives random answers. When I asked how long it would take to get to the port, it gave me information about the port in Igoumenitsa. Meanwhile, Google found everything. I recommend Google a thousand times. I also bought Alexa because I didn't like the keyword that Google has and it doesn't change, unlike Amazon
