Very fast, it reaches up to 1050Mb/s. The fingerprint works instantly and saves you from prying eyes for the password. It is hardware encrypted, which means that once unlocked, you don't need to enter any software to view files, you simply use it.
I had various fast and hard drives and flash drives, but there is no comparison. It achieves the speed it claims and doesn't drop dramatically when copying small files. With very small files, it operates at about half the speed, while others drop below 10% to 1%, even in precise solutions.
Formatted in EXFAT, I have connected it to Android without any problems, plug and play.
The fact that you don't fear losing it because it is encrypted is a great advantage.
It works with both a password and a fingerprint, whichever suits you. If you don't want it, you can completely disable it.
The software that unlocks it is excellent! You touch it and it unlocks in fractions of a second.
To use it with a password or fingerprint, you need to install a small program on the device only the first time, which is always accessible even when it is connected. For mobile devices, it is available on the Play Store.
I haven't tried it on a Mac, but they provide the software and from what I have seen, it is the same, simple and easy.
Finally, I should mention that when it is connected, you cannot see the actual 1TB drive or folder names, etc. You only see a very small read-only drive that has the installation software.
If you forget the password, there is no way to recover it, it clearly states in the manual. The only way to use it again is to perform a factory reset, resulting in the loss of all encrypted data.
Size is as small as a credit card.
The only drawback is that the software for storing the password and fingerprint is not user-friendly. However, you won't need it again after the first day you purchase it. Besides, your fingerprint never changes.
It's worth every last euro, without a doubt.

The encryption function of the T7 Touch SSD works but is unstable for long-term use, meaning if you intend to keep the SSD connected for extended periods and read/write data on a 24-hour basis (backups, automatic processing, etc.), it performs well on Windows. The explorer freezes at some point and the entire system becomes unresponsive. Perhaps better software addressing this issue will be released soon, but for now, it is stable only when used as a regular non-encrypted disk unit. Additionally, this will give you a maximum speed of 1 GB/s ONLY if your host computer also has a USB 3.2 bus. A USB 3.0 bus will only give you half the speed. Therefore, if your computer is USB 3.0 or lower and you do not plan on purchasing a new one soon, which is also USB 3.2 capable, do not pay the premium price for this, as you will not have the additional speed while the encrypted mode is currently unstable.
