Very good, you can use it even without being connected to the wifi that the product is connected to. In one of the videos I was looking for, it mentions that you can do it without a connection, but I haven't found it yet.
The installation is necessarily done with ethernet (cable behind the router) which you connect to the Bridge and it must be permanently connected to the socket.
All cables are provided.

I bought it because the app was causing me a big problem with bluetooth. I recommend it, very good and immediate.

It is very fast since it only connects via Ethernet, but personally, I have connected it to a WiFi Extender that has a suitable port, you also have this option.
It is the heart of the Hue system, so far reliable, without any disconnections, etc.
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can scan the code on the back and control it using Siri, or through Google Home for Android.
I would only like it to include something for wall mounting.

immediately detects new philips devices.
works exclusively on wifi 2.4 Ghz like all smart accessories.
Price 50-60 euros, I would say relatively good compared to similar chinese ones I have (aqara) homekit version at 40-45 euros (2 years ago), which I had to reprogram relatively often.
the only downside compared to the aqara hub is that the window traps do not activate/deactivate automatically when you leave the home.

Ανάλογα για τι χρήση το χρειάζεσαι και τι ταχύτητα θέλεις να υποστηρίζει.
Σχετικά με το Philips hue bridge το καλώδιο ethernet που περιλαμβάνεται στην συσκευασία του κάνει μια χαρά την δουλειά του, απροβλημάτιστα και δεν χρειάζεται κάποιο άλλο μεγαλύτερης κατηγορίας καλώδιο.
