- It does not fit in the round box that usually contains the sockets, so it requires drilling/opening to fit.
- As shown in the photo, it does not have hooks or any grip or base to be secured on the wall.
- When I tried to charge 2 devices (phone & tablet), the tablet did not charge (as if the socket did not have enough power).
- It did not last even 1 year, now the USB ports do not work
I give it 2 stars for the following reasons:
- It does not fit in the round box that electrical outlets usually have, so it requires digging/opening in order to fit. However, this means that if you want to change the outlet in the future and install a regular recessed one, you will have to fix that specific spot again.
- As shown in the photo, it does not have hooks or any kind of attachment or base to secure it to the wall.
- In one of the outlets I bought, the cable guide came off, which concerned me about the quality of materials and their durability over time.
On the positive side:
- Lower price compared to similar outlets (although I would have preferred to go for the corresponding €10 outlet that would not require additional work).
Therefore, I would not recommend it solely because of the modification needed for the wall, since you have to use the same or a corresponding outlet to avoid repairing the wall.
It is a very beautiful socket, but it requires a little digging in order to fit. So far, it works perfectly
Excellent socket but a bit bulky, which makes it difficult to place. However, the result is worth the effort.
It does its job.
