    I have no experience with a large cutter, but this one is slow and not suitable for heavy work, for measurements. It essentially melts the polystyrene, so you have to take into account the millimeters you will lose from melting. It has a strong smell as it burns. Overall, if I had worked with it before buying it, I wouldn't have purchased it. I wanted to avoid the crumbs and this one does that. Now I cut them with scissors and simply pass it through the side I cut and it stabilizes the pieces. I hope I helped.
