I bought it because I wanted to be able to read wherever I am without carrying books and pens with me, and also to synchronize my notes with the computer so that I can save them.
As for the Kindle:
+ It is very nice for reading, comfortable and convenient.
+ It has brightness adjustment and is lightweight.
+ The battery lasts quite a long time, but I didn't test it much, I returned it.
- It is very slow in response, don't expect a tablet but rather a smartphone from 2010 that took 1'' to open the menu from a click.
- It is black and white, even though it supports images.
Regarding the Kindle app:
+ The text-to-speech feature of the app is incredible, good intonations and pauses. Better than Apple's.
- It supports Bing translation, but not Greek yet, so if you read foreign language books and want word translation, it's not available.
- The Kindle app is considered one of the best reading apps out there, and I agree that I haven't found anything better. I believe that in this stage of technology, there should be something more competitive with a more modern UI, but okay.
- The most important thing!!! The PDFs I put in don't work/synchronize in the Kindle app on the computer (only the books purchased from the Amazon store), so I can't easily transfer my notes from one to the other. Amazon support told me this when I was trying to figure it out and couldn't. It works fine on tablets and mobile phones, obviously also on the Kindle.
Unfortunately, I didn't like it at all as a product. I believe that for its price, something better should be offered, as with the same amount of money, tablets offer the Kindle app, word translation, colors, better time response in gestures, and obviously a bunch of other features!
I requested a product return and bought a tablet. Yes, it is a bit more tiring for the eyes, but I have a bunch of other capabilities.

Το αγόρασα γιατί ήθελα αφενός να διαβάζω όπου και να είμαι χωρίς να κρατάω τόμους και στυλό μαζί και αφετέρου να συγχρονίζω τις σημειώσεις μου με τον υπολογιστή ώστε να τις αποθηκεύω.
Στα του Kindle λοιπον:
+ Είναι πολύ ωραίο στην ανάγνωση, ξεκούραστο και βολικό.
+ Έχει ρύθμιση φωτεινότητας και είναι ελαφρύ.
+ Η μπαταρία κρατάει όντως αρκετά απ ότι φαίνεται, αλλα δε το δοκίμασα πολύ, το επέστρεψα
- Είναι πολύ αργό στις αποκρίσεις, μη σκεφτείτε tablet αλλά smartphone του 2010, που εκανε 1'' μέχρι να ανοίξει το menu από το κλικ.
- Ασπρόμαυρο, παρόλο που υποστηρίζει εικόνες
Για το app του kindle:
+ Το text-to-speech της εφαρμογής είναι απίστευτο, καλοί τονισμοί και παύσεις. Πιο καλό από της apple.
- Υποστηρίζει μετάφραση του bing, αλλά όχι ελληνικά ακόμα, επομένως αν διαβάζετε ξενόγλωσσα βιβλία και θέλετε μετάφραση λέξεων, δεν υπάρχει.
- το kindle app θεωρείται από τα καλύτερα reading apps που υπάρχουν, και θα συμφωνήσω ότι δεν έχω βρει και κάτι καλύτερο. Θεωρώ ότι στην φάση που είναι η τεχνολογία θα έπρεπε να υπάρχει κάτι πιο ανταγωνιστικό με πιο μοντέρνο UI, ωστόσο οκ.
- Το βασικότερο!!! Τα pdf που βάζω δε λειτουργουν-συγχρονίζονται στο kindle app του υπολογιστη (μόνο τα αγορασμένα βιβλία απο το amazon store) με αποτελεσμα να μην μπορω να περάσω τις σημειώσεις εύκολα από το ένα στο άλλο. Μου το είπε το support της Amazon αυτό όταν προσπαθούσα να βγάλω άκρη και δε μπορούσα. Σε tablet και κινητό είναι μια χαρά, προφανώς και στο kindle
Δυστυχώς, δε μου άρεσε καθόλου σαν προιόν. Θεωρώ ότι για τα χρήματά του θα έπρεπε να προσφέρεται κάτι καλύτερο, καθώς με τα ίδια χρήματα τα tablet προσφερουν και την εφαρμογή του Kindle, και μετάφραση λέξεων, χρώματα, καλύτερο time response στα gestures και προφανώς ένα σωρό άλλες ιδιότητες!
Ζήτησα επιστροφή προιόντος και αγόρασα tablet. Ναι μεν είναι λίγο πιο κουραστικό στα μάτια, αλλά έχω ένα σωρό άλλες δυνατότητες.
Ελπίζω να μην κούρασα με την μεγάλη περιγραφή.
