Throw away everything you have bought so far, go to a supermarket and buy this specific one. You will see the difference even before you need to scrub. If the mold is up to medium coverage, you won't need to scrub at all.

I saved a good dehumidifier which, due to zero maintenance from its previous owner, had developed mold on the dust that had accumulated from heavy use in its refrigerator.
