The speakers are vfm.... There is a lot of junk circulating at this price... I saved myself with the 30 euros I spent... I had a very good sound with the Creative 2.1 but I had to buy another set for the store.... The Creative Inspire 3100..(one of the best 2.1 for PC I think) will go to the store and these will stay at home.... The Creative ones have a subwoofer which I have had under the desk for years and the kids kick it and pull the cables... These ones have half the cables.... The sound in music is amazing... They don't need a subwoofer... I listen to metal more.... And they play clearly... The tweeter is active, it's not a fake... It's a cheap monitor speaker with very good performance. No, it's not for parties.... With 30 people.... For parties, I have a home cinema system which is quite expensive for the average Greek listener... Paid piece by piece... I don't expect crazy things from these little speakers... But they are a surprise... Clear sound... Frequency separation... Everything is good... If they last, they are a pure five-star.... Build quality is average... Sound quality is much better than average... and the good thing is that they stand without the stand... Although I'm used to music with a stand... But in this particular space, I had to play without it... The kids kept passing the cables under the desk... So I had to find something small but cheap and that plays as best as possible... I think I did my job... For the Edifier ones, I would have had to pay double the money and they are also bigger in size... And in this particular case, there was no reason.

The choice was between Genesis NCS-1305 HELIUM 200 (from 38€), Creative INSPIRE T10 (around 40€), or Creative GIGAWORKS T15 (from 55€). In the end, the appearance(!) led me to choose Genesis.

Basically, I was considering the Edifier R1080BT, and I still like them even without having heard them, but I ultimately thought that both the computer noises and their slightly larger size did not justify spending 100€ on speakers. These ones, although not cheap, still cost less than half the price of the Edifier and seemed promising (the prices were 37.90€ for the Genesis NCS-1305 HELIUM 200, while other friends had bought them for around 25€ in the past(!), and 89.90€ for the Edifier R1080BT).

The company is Polish and manufactures its products in China. The speakers are not exactly small, they take up quite a bit of space, especially on a small desk. Their woofers (3 inches) are protected by a metal grille. The cable that connects the two speakers is short (~1m). Maybe its length is enough for a normal-sized desk, but if someone wants more distance, they will have to improvise(!) or choose another product. Their cable connections are fixed and there are no AUX or other ports, only microphone and headphone ports. Opening and increasing the volume are done with the same button. There is no additional button for adjusting the bass or anything like that. The button does not have a volume indicator. However, the sound increase is very progressive, and when you open them a little, you can hardly hear anything. With a gradual increase in volume, the sound emerges beautifully. In my previous speakers, the adjustment was quite abrupt, which was annoying.

The first one says that it's silly to set up cheap speakers for a PC, and the opposite opinion is that all speakers need to be set up. In the end, I decided that I had nothing to lose by setting them up.

I'm truly amazed! These are exceptional speakers, and their bass is impressive for this category! Of course, they are not hi-end bass, but they are decent, and one can comfortably listen to music with these speakers. Keep in mind that my sound card is a basic one (integrated). Some bass tests:

There are plenty of such tests on the internet, of course, not only for bass. Before the test, it is good to let the speakers warm up and not start the test at high volume initially.

I don't play games, so check other friends' opinions on this matter. I also don't know about the capabilities of the INSPIRE T10 and GIGAWORKS T15 from Creative to make a comparison with something similar, but the Genesis speakers have impressed me! Their sound is clear, and you can easily distinguish the instruments of the orchestra, and only at around 70% volume, there is a slight distortion, but nothing terrible. Of course, the room, the music, the source, etc., play a role in this. I usually use them at about the middle of the volume, as they are quite powerful, and I rarely need more power. From me, 5 stars, and I only have good things to say about them to anyone looking for speakers in this category.
