After a year and a half of use, I have only good things to say. I bought it in November 2020 on sale for 1130 euros. I wanted to buy the LG OLED, but it was around 1500 euros and with the price drop of the Samsung, I couldn't say no to such an offer. The TV really has everything. I connect 4K movies directly from the hard drive to the TV and it plays them flawlessly, even the largest 80 GB 4K movies. The only exception is that it doesn't play DTS audio. The picture and contrast are in an extreme degree, to the point where your eyes hurt in a good way. I mean, even in a bright living room with sunlight, the TV will play brightly, which OLEDs cannot do. If HDR is a key factor for you when buying a TV, then this TV is for you because it has rich and powerful HDR. In other countries, the same TV comes with two remote controls, a regular one and one with basic settings. Here in Greece, they only give us the small remote control. I contacted the Greek representative to ask, and they told me there is only one. At first, I was puzzled, but then I learned how to work with it because it doesn't have the classic buttons 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0, nor does it have tricks like some LG TVs where it's like laser shooting for easy navigation, etc. Also, changing channels and adjusting the volume is done in a special way with a 3-directional button, which may initially be difficult for older people. Everything about the TV is perfect for me, the picture, the sound. It's very positive that the TV is wall-mountable, you can connect it to the wall like a frame, and then there is a box where the electrical connections and cable connections like HDMI, USB, and optical fiber are made. In other words, the TV is in two parts. Its stand is tall, so someone can place a large soundbar underneath it or even the box itself. For gaming, it's great, I play PS5 Gran Turismo 7 without fear of burn-in. As a receiver for TV channels, there is no issue there either. The only negatives I could find are that it doesn't have component connections, the navigation menu takes a little getting used to at first, and in terms of motion interpolation, it doesn't perform perfectly at 100%. In that aspect, Sony TVs are good, let's say those things. It can create artifacts, which is logical because it introduces new frames and it's a matter of calculation. No matter what we do, it's still LED, and regarding phenomena like halo effect and blooming, as well as absolute black, things are quite good, but it's not OLED... the black is gray and in abrupt dark-to-bright transitions, sometimes the TV is bothersome. It can't be helped, it's purely a matter of different display technologies, so choose what you want carefully. For LED, because QLED is simply an LED with powerful backlighting, and OLED, where each pixel is autonomous, choose your camp carefully.

Purchased on 17/02 from a large chain of stores. When I opened it, the bleeding was very noticeable. I called the customer service of the chain and they referred me to the dealership. A Samsung technician came, opened the curtains and doors wide so that the sun could enter the house, and took a photo of the Samsung logo with a bright symbol in the middle of the screen to show the problem.

With so much daylight and a black screen with a bright spot in the middle, no problem was visible, and they took it back the same day and told me it was normal. The store and Samsung didn't even mention DOA. And then the pixel appeared, which looks like a hit.

My friend has the TV and it's perfect when it works properly, but can you risk it with this company without the coverage that the law offers you?

In the end, it was returned to the store with a clause of €120 and I got an OLED. With such service, never again Samsung.

The 2 stars were given because if it works properly, it is worth its money.

Coming from the LG OLED CX, I have to say that I saw a huge improvement in the image quality and capabilities of Samsung. Colors, brightness, and smooth motion are Samsung's strengths. Smart features like PIP and content recording to a hard drive/USB are great. Tremendous upscaling quality compared to LG, where everyday channels from the antenna just couldn't be seen.

Finally, I feel lucky that I got it for 1000 euros because now it's selling for over 3000+.

Apart from the fact that the panel broke in 4 and a half months, I could never find a setting that balances the contrast of black with the brightness. There is a significant lag in gaming, and the colors lack depth. It is not worth the money unless someone is simply watching conventional channels and a movie on Netflix and cannot afford to buy a 65-inch OLED.

    Purchased for €899, 55 inches.
Easy menu, all the usual applications.
I would like it to be a bit faster even though it has a good processor, it gives me that impression.
    Satisfactory sound.
The picture is quite good, I would like to try it with a PS5 on HDMI 2.1 to be more certain.
For its price, it is the best.

The television is worth every last euro, I'm telling you this and you can see it for yourself. I compared it to the OLED I have, LG BX or Samsung QT 95sta, and it has excellent performance. It's perfect for games on the PS4... Take it, don't hesitate, it's worth every penny!

4 stars due to the 'burn-in' it does and because it doesn't come with the remote with the solar panel.. Overall, a very good TV but definitely if I were to buy again, I would choose the Q80A... I made a mistake!

It has a very good image and very good sound, purchased for 999€ Samsung Q LED 95TD 55-inch. I highly recommend it. It did not include the metallic remote, only the regular black one.

I warn potential buyers: as of 1/6/2021, the TV still has a dimming bug in the 6-minute mark from HDR source to HDMI. They have fixed it in game mode, but at a small cost to image quality. Additionally, it does not support LPCM 5.1 passthrough on eARC, for which Samsung has not yet officially addressed.

Other than that, it has a very good picture, good sound (if one uses its speakers), and is quite fast compared to older models that were sluggish.

EDIT: With a software update shortly after (1 year after release), the dimming bug was fixed, the picture quality improved significantly in both game mode and overall, and the blacks near OLED levels also improved. However, the LPCM passthrough 5.1 remains faulty.

I have it for about 2 months now. I bought it from a well-known chain store for 1047, a very good price. It is truly a delight both in terms of picture and sound. The remote control, which is metallic, is not only easy to use but also pleasant to hold in the hand.

This particular TV was purchased in November 2020 for 1199, so it has been about 6 months of use. It is mounted on a wall (the one-box capability is really worth it if you want to have it on the wall!) The picture quality is very good. The room is quite bright during the day, but its brightness is sufficient and the color performance is excellent. Although the TV is connected to a home theater amplifier and a 7.0 speaker system (like its predecessor, which I exclusively listened to through the amplifier), I find myself now using its built-in speakers instead of the home theater. This is an indication of its sound performance. The remote control is metallic and aesthetically pleasing, and now it replaces the remote control of my old TV, the Cosmote TV, and the amplifier. A very good choice!

Image from the future !! It performs flawlessly in 4K !!
Good viewing angles... but it would be tiring if they made the screen rotate... a little... with a small movement...??
Sound is very good!... but with an amplifier... another level...
    Very convenient!!! the connectivity box
    - Why do we have to search for PIP in the settings...? a shortcut, come on Samsung guys
Otherwise, perfect implementation.... with a fantastic smart control.

Very good! Nice vibrant colors, strong black, PiP, the box with the connections solves your hands from having cables. Satisfactory sound connected to an LG soundbar gives a nice feeling to Netflix 4K movies. Apps include appletv, Cosmotetv, YouTube, Spotify, ErtFlix. Smart control. 10-year basic burn-in warranty.

Everything that has been mentioned is true.

Pay attention to two important issues.

    1. When we say it doesn't support DTS, we mean it doesn't even support Passthrough. I just mention it for a buyer who wasn't clear about it.
    2. In movies, fast panning movements show stutter/judder regardless of settings. Don't expect buttery smoothness.

    Apart from these, excellent

The television overall is amazing! The picture is incredible with tremendously vibrant colors, and this significantly helps the automated HDR10+. I have had this particular television for a month now and have not encountered any issues. The television takes movies in ultra 4k on Netflix and when I play PS4 to another level. This is also aided by the HDMI 2.1 port it has. I did a lot of research before purchasing this specific television, but the main reason I chose it is because there is no risk of burn-in like with OLEDs. I highly recommend it and believe it is worth its price for what it offers!

I bought it today after extensive research. It was 55% off on Black Friday, priced at 1200 euros.
Of course, I went to the store with my flash drive to see it playing 4K videos and compare it to others.
The image and color quality are out of this world.
I look at my other two TVs at home and I feel like throwing them away.
The sound intensity and quality are very good.
Forget about OLED TVs with permanent burn-in of logos and subtitles on the screen.
I believe it is the best 4K LED TV on the market.
    Cons:
    1) It does not support DTS (a big disappointment for movie collectors)
    2) It does not support old formats like avi, etc.
In general, check what video formats it supports.
If you don't mind the lack of DTS support and can afford it, don't think twice about it.

The best thing there is right now, I believe. Incredible colors, amazing black, unique resolution. Very user-friendly and beautiful controller, which has everything on it. Netflix, nova, etc. The only thing I consider a disadvantage is that the controller does not function as an "air mouse" like my old 9000 series TV. In other words, to move the cursor, you have to use the arrows.

    Purchase 24/01/2021 55'
