Description & Specifications

The 5 Gemma iris bulbs are planted in autumn, in a pot or in the garden, and bloom in spring. They can be planted in a sunny or partially shaded spot, protected from the wind. Plant them at a depth 2–3 times the height of the bulb, with the pointed end facing upwards.

Before sprouting, keep the soil slightly moist, as excess moisture can cause the bulb to rot. From sprouting until flowering, water the iris 1–2 times a week. After flowering, continue watering until the plant has completely dried out. The bulb can then be left in the soil or cleaned, dried and stored in a shady place for planting the following year.
