Biodegradable: The soap made from plant oils has the unique property that, immediately after use, it chemically reacts with the lime that is always present in wastewater, forming calcium soap. As a result, the surfactant action of the soap is neutralized (primary degradation). This primary breakdown occurs within a few hours. Subsequently, the calcium soap is decomposed 100% into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation) by microorganisms. The ethanol is reintroduced into the natural cycle within a few hours.

In addition to the natural glycerin released from the oils during saponification, they add plant glycerin that binds moisture. Despite the fact that during the production of sugar surfactants, the ingredients are extracted from starch, sugar, and fats derived from plants, they remain completely intact in their natural molecular structure. For this reason, it is relatively easy for microorganisms to decompose these surfactants 100% quickly.

Soap and sugar surfactants are classified as easily biodegradable, according to OECD guidelines.
