  • I tried it at a restaurant and I was amazed, it definitely needs food, it hits you from the first glass

  • Unfortunately, it is not the wine it used to be until 2021-2022. Much more bland and acidic. There are much better options now for this price.

  • The Rose de Xinomavro has a good structure with tannic substance and crisp acidity, to which the 3-month stay in an old oak barrel contributes. A rosé wine that calls for food and is not just for an aperitif. I believe that aging it for 2 to 3 years will elevate it. Recommended.

Description & Specifications

Thymiopoulos Estate dry rosé wine, made from the Xinomavro grape variety, comes from Naoussa and has a deep rose color. Its ripe aroma evokes red fruit jams, sun-dried tomato, caramel, and sweet spices, complemented by notes of strawberry, cherry, flowers, and herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with lively acidity, minimal tannins, and a caramel finish.

Pairs well with red meat, pasta, pizza, cheese, and cured meats.
