Description

The D-26 paint and varnish stripper from Durostick is a rich blend of special solvent-based strippers, specially modified (does not contain methylene chloride) to effectively remove old paints of all kinds. It acts immediately and removes solvent or water-based varnishes, lacquers, polyurethane paints, epoxy paints, nitrocellulose and oven paints, plastics, acrylics, etc., from wooden, metal and other building surfaces.

Consumption

1lt/2-4 m², depending on the nature and thickness of the layers of paint to be removed.

    Two coats of painted (not waxed) chalk color came off easily. Two coats of oil paint 50-grade struggled, but for me it was justified. It significantly weakened it and then the job was easily done with the heat gun.
    It requires a good shake before each use because otherwise pieces will fall into the container that you will pour it. Keep in mind, since 2012 ingredients have been removed due to EU regulations. Before, the solvents were stronger, as they are in the USA where ingredients have not been removed for health and environmental reasons.
