I have had it since 2023 (maybe even 2022) and it works perfectly. The reason I bought it is that it uses inkjet printer technology like the Workforce I have. The Workforce lasted 6 years! I didn't bother repairing it, I bought another one. One of its advantages is that it has a feeder for A3 sheets. Not one by one, but several at once! Of course, I buy the large ink cartridge pack. Just as the seller told me, if it breaks down, the cost will be higher compared to expensive plotters. Maybe close to buying a new one! Rolls of 50m up to 610mm and cut sheets.

Today I bought the same machine for the second time (for a second business location). They assured me that you can set a roll of 600*1500 e.g. or whatever length I want. From the control panel you find the printer, right click on printing preferences, click on custom paper size. You set the paper size name (e.g. 600x1500), you set paper width 600 mm, paper height 1500 mm and save. Then you press ok. In the 'printing preferences' window you returned to, you select the third tab above 'advanced' and click save roll paper (so it will cut the paper at the end of the design). I did all that... I haven't printed yet. I believe it will work... In the end, it worked!!!

Easy installation, my complaint is that I don't see anyone mentioning that it only prints 600mm by 900 in A1 size. It doesn't let me use my own paper (roll), neither longer nor shorter (not width 600mm). Support told me that it can't be done.

Very satisfactory printing. Easy network connectivity (on an ethernet hub). Satisfactory software, drivers, etc.

Excellent product - high quality, from a manufacturer that has its own technology that they have not been able to copy. The main advantage of all Epson products, in addition to the classic subjective or objective comparative characteristics, is the nationwide onsite warranty and the fact that you don't have to pay for the print heads, which are considered part of the machine and therefore covered by the warranty, whereas for other manufacturers they are consumable and cost about 300€. In terms of consumption in the entry-level plotter category, it doesn't matter how much the inks cost, more or less they are all similar, and you won't see a difference between manufacturers since these models are for small volumes, small offices. What matters is whether we will use large or small inks depending on what we do. From there, we will achieve the economy that this category offers in these models. In these machines, it is important to have a good warranty, a good manufacturer, and an implementation that is user-friendly, something that Epson is generally known for as a serious Japanese manufacturer.
