Excellent studio monitors, very pleasant and easy-listening sound

Very high quality with a really nice and clear sound. I use them mainly for editing. After 12+ years of working with monitor headphones, I can say that the change was truly worth it. The work is much more comfortable and you get a much more natural picture of the sound.

I particularly like their bass. It is full and quite powerful, to the point that personally I don't think I need a subwoofer. I knew from the start that, due to the 8" bass drivers and because my room is relatively small, 3.5m x 3.5m, and not ideal acoustically, there was a chance the bass would be excessive and affect the perception of the mids and highs. Fortunately, with the settings available on the back, LF -2 dB and HF +2 dB, I managed to get it where it should be for my space.

Of course, the acoustics of a room are a whole science, and it is difficult to achieve the absolute best result without proper acoustic study and treatment of the space. Nevertheless, with these settings the result for my needs is excellent.

I have paired them with an SSL 2 MKII USB interface and they work together flawlessly. Overall, a purchase that so far has left me completely satisfied.

After a long search, I ended up choosing the ADAM T8V.
If your listening preference is hard sound like rock, hard rock & metal, you can go for these without hesitation. They require a good source, e.g. a high-end sound card or a modern DAC, and their performance will excite you—they are truly STUDIO MONITORS.
Whether you have them at 10% or at 90%, the performance is the same.

They do not distort, do not color the sound, have excellent clarity in the highs and vocals with a tweeter that does not tire you even if you put it right next to your ear. (It takes some getting used to)

Congratulations to ADAM for this excellent model, which was created to eliminate the need that mainly the T5V but perhaps also the T7V had for a subwoofer.

The T8V has incredible bass and will satisfy you for music listening or "amateur" production.

The speakers were purchased for listening to records as after quite a bit of searching I read very good things. For my living room ~20 sqm they produce satisfactory sound without the immediate need for a separate subwoofer. Excellent mids and highs.

Recently, they were placed in a computer room and I no longer look back.

Note that they require passive volume control if there is no sound card/console.

The only negatives:
- If you turn the potentiometer all the way up to control them only from the card, they produce electrostatic noise, so it needs to be a click lower and synchronization of the two channels.
- Care is needed as the finish can easily get damaged.

I would buy them again.
