I bought it in the summer of 2020 in red color (I'm always talking about the single-seater). I am very satisfied. The wheel it has at the back helps you roll it on tiles, asphalt, slippery marinas, etc. On rough stones like Karystos, for example, I'm afraid it gets damaged a lot, I don't even consider using it on pebbles or sand. It's good to have it for flat surfaces though. The "waterproof" compartment is not really waterproof. They probably designed it that way so you can put bait in it for fishing and it won't spill when you close the lid, but it doesn't bother me if it's always wet. For keys or a phone, forget it, the first water that enters the boat will end up there! I weigh 85 kilograms and in calm seas, if you pay attention, no water enters the foot area, even at high speed (only what drips from the paddle). It easily fills with water in wavy conditions. If it fills up, obviously it becomes heavier (it must be more than 30 liters of water) and it requires more effort to paddle. However, in any case, I find it extremely stable. Even with waves over half a meter, I haven't encountered any significant problems. Even with my child (20 kilograms) on the boat, it is stable in waves, although I have capsized twice in such conditions (always make sure the child wears a proper life jacket, not just arm floaties, etc! That made the difference in these situations between laughing our hearts out and having a family drama!) With the child sitting in front of me, it fills with water in the first few meters, even in calm seas. With the child sitting behind me, it's better because the boat lifts its nose. For transportation from home to the beach house, I put it on the roof of the car on roof bars and tie it securely. But I wouldn't travel like that (aerodynamically, it doesn't inspire me that it's securely supported to go faster than 50). It seems simple to put it on the roof, but my wife finds it difficult. I have managed to lift it alone, but due to its volume and shape, it's a job for 2 people. For its price (back then I found it for 275, I think), it's an excellent choice, either for a teenager or an adult. Maintenance in the 2.5 summers I've had it: I rinse it with tap water and store it in a semi-underground storage with railings, without windows. I leave the paddles permanently on the car for convenience. It has no signs of wear, not even the color has faded at all. The 5th star is debatable only because the waterproof compartment is not really waterproof (and my godchild has the same one with the same issue in the compartment) and because I would like the boat to fill up harder (or empty easier) from the water coming from the waves. I would buy it again without hesitation!
Το αγόρασα μέσα καλοκαιριού του 2020 σε κόκκινο χρώμα (μιλάω πάντα για το μονοθέσιο). Είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος. Το ροδάκι που έχει πίσω βοηθάει να το κυλίσεις σε πλακάκια, άσφαλτο, γλίστρα σε μαρίνα κλπ. Σε τραχιές πέτρες Καρύστου πχ φοβάμαι πως ταλαιπωρείται πολύ, σε βότσαλο ή άμμο δεν το συζυτάω καν. Καλό είναι που υπάρχει πάντως για επίπεδες επιφάνειες. Η "στεγανή" θήκη μόνο στεγανή δεν είναι. Μάλλον το έχουν σκεφτεί για να βάζεις δολώματα στο ψάρεμα που κλείνοντας το καπάκι δε σου φεύγουν, αλλά δε σε πειράζει να είναι μονίμως βρεγμένα. Για κλειδιά ή κινητό ούτε λόγος, το πρώτο νερό που θα μπεί στη σκάφη εκεί θα καταλήξει! Είμαι στα 85 κιλά και σε ήρεμη θάλασσα αν προσέχεις δε μπαίνουν νερά στο χώρο των ποδιών, ακόμα και με γρήγορη πορεία (μόνο όσα στάζουν βέβαια από το κουπί). Με κύμα γεμίζει νερά ο χώρος των ποδιών πολύ εύκολα. Αν γεμίσει προφανώς βαραίνει (πρέπει να είναι πάνω από 30 λίτρα νερού) και θέλει περισσότερο κόπο να κάνεις κουπί. Όμως σε κάθε περίπτωση το βρίσκω εξαιρετικά σταθερό. Ακόμα και με κύμα πάνω από μισό μέτρο δεν έχω αντιμετωπίσει ουσιαστικά προβλήματα. Ακόμα και με το παιδί μου (20 κιλά) πάνω στο σκάφος είναι σταθερό σε κύματα αν και έχω ανατραπεί 2 φορές σε τέτοια κατάσταση (πάντα να έχετε το παιδί με σωστικό σωσίβιο, όχι απλώς μπρατσάκια κλπ! Αυτό μας έκανε τη διαφορά σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις του να γελάμε με την ψυχή μας από το να είχαμε οικογενειακό δράμα!) Με το παιδί καθισμένο μπροστά μου γεμίζει νερό στα πρώτα μέτρα, ακόμα και σε ήρεμη θάλασσα. Με το παιδί καθισμένο πίσω μου επειδή το σκάφος σηκώνει την μύτη είναι καλύτερα. Για την μεταφορά σπίτι-θάλασσα στο εξοχικό το βάζω πάνω σε αυτοκίνητο σε μπάρες οροφής και το δένω καλά. Όμως δεν θα έκανα ταξίδι έτσι (αεροδυναμικά δε με εμπνέει πως στηρίζεται με ασφάλεια να πάς γρηγορότερα από 50). Μου φαίνεται απλή η κίνηση να το βάλω στην οροφή, αλλά η γυναίκα μου όμως δυσκολεύεται. Μόνος μου έχω καταφέρει να το ανεβάσω, αλλά λόγω όγκου και σχήματος είναι δουλειά για 2 άτομα. Για τα χρήματά του (τότε το είχα βρει 275 νομίζω) είναι εξαιρετική επιλογή, είτε για έφηβο, είτε για ενήλικα. Συντήρηση τα 2,5 καλοκάιρια που το έχω: Το ξεπλένω με νερό της βρύσης και το φυλάω σε ημιυπόγεια αποθήκη με κάγκελα, χωρίς τζάμια. Τα ΠΣΚ το αφήνω μόνιμα πάνω στο αμάξι για ευκολία. Δεν έχει την παραμικρή φθορά, ούτε το χρώμα έχει κόψει καθόλου. Το 5ο αστέρι είναι συζητήσιμο μόνο επειδή η στεγανή θήκη μόνο στεγανή δεν είναι (και ο βαφτισιμιός μου έχει το ολόιδιο με το ίδιο θέμα στη θήκη) και επειδή θα ήθελα να γεμίζει δυσκολότερα (ή να αδειάζει ευκολότερα) η σκάφη του από τα νερά που έρχονται από τα κύματα. Θα το ξαναγόραζα με κλειστά μάτια!
