With Pixel Contrast Booster, color and contrast are enhanced in bright areas, so you can enjoy scenes full of realistic shadows and tones, more depth, subtle textures and the pure contrast in blacks that only OLED can deliver.
More realistic contrast and color
Object-based HDR remaster
With Object-based HDR remaster technology, the color of each individual object on the screen is analyzed and contrast is adjusted, which is not the case with most TVs where contrast is only adjusted along a black-to-white contrast curve. Thanks to the individual processing of each object, this TV can reproduce greater depth, more textures and more realistic images.
Excellent analysis, whatever you see
All kinds of content can be upgraded to 4K with Sony's features. The X1 Ultimate, twice as fast as the X1 Extreme, processes the data, enriching 4K images with realistic detail. Images in 2K and Full HD are upgraded to near 4K resolution by 4K X-Reality PRO using a 4K database. The resolution is optimized with Object-based Super Resolution technology for perfectly realistic images.

With a wider color gamut, the TRILUMINOS display with X1 processor reproduces more colors than a conventional TV. It analyses and processes data in each image for more natural and accurate colors, so images are even more realistic.
