I believe it makes a lot of noise and it doesn't cool as much as I expected. I mainly use it for external hard drives, I put them on top so they don't overheat, but it makes a lot of noise... I use the base on a 14-inch Lenovo laptop 120S with a Celeron processor 1.1 up to 2.5 Mhz, 4GB RAM, and 64GB SSD, which does not have a fan for processor cooling. The laptop runs 24/7 with two programs, resulting in high temperatures on the side where the processor is located. With the placement of the cooling base, the laptop shows a noticeable decrease in temperature, externally by touch, without measuring it with a program. Because the laptop works continuously, the base is permanently plugged in and I do not use power from the laptop. It fits perfectly with the 14-inch laptop, being about 1 centimeter larger on the right and left. It is also almost silent. For the purpose I bought it for, I am satisfied with the result.

It creates a problem with the USB while it is plugged in and functioning properly. It blocks the adjacent port because the adapter protrudes from the cable. Additionally, when I fixed this issue and used the adapter that came with the keyboard cable, the keyboard did not work

Very good and economical solution. The positive aspects are the speed regulator, almost silent even at its highest power, but the best thing is that in order not to lose the USB port where you will place the base, there is an extra socket to add whatever you want!

It has only one fan, but it does its job well, it cools adequately. The noise is very low even at maximum speed (about as loud as a laptop fan), but if even this bothers you, it has a remote control that adjusts the intensity, although obviously the performance will decrease (it also has a USB port). However, it gives the feeling that in order to function properly, the legs must be open. The packaging also included 4 rubber pads that I placed to support the laptop and prevent it from slipping (I consider them necessary to be used as well, as with the legs open it takes a slight incline). Finally, I would like to say that it seems to be made of good materials (aluminum). For the money, it is worth trusting it!
