Excellent zoom. Very good photos and very good video!
However, in night shots with low light the camera is hopelessly bad...

I am not a photographer or an expert.
I like the photos it takes during the day, they are excellent,
    but at night it's so-so...
However, I bought it for vlogging and for YouTube. For this job, it's half a click away from professional performance.
With good lighting around though... In the dark... not so much.

It is the best for this money, the photos are perfect, the videos are okay during the day but not so much at night, the sound is okay, it is the best!! WORTH IT!!!

As for the photos, they are amazing (daytime and low-light conditions). The video during the day is very good: beautiful colors, very good HDR (unexpected for a point and shoot camera), and relatively stable (personally, I would choose a gimbal). Now, as for video in low-light conditions, it is downright unacceptable. I believe that if Canon had installed a brighter lens (even an f2.8), it would be the perfect camera
