Bought the monitor on 14/10/2022, 2 days ago. I have it exclusively for the PS5 and occasionally for the computer. I won't sweet-talk you with only positive comments. I will give you a general idea of what I think.

In terms of performance, it is two steps above everything else. It is really powerful, making you think you have 0 latency.

As for the construction, it takes up a lot of space, even though I have a huge desk. The base from the screen is around 12cm, which means it brings the screen further out and that might bother you.

Overall, in terms of performance, it doesn't disappoint.

BUT! The issue with the monitor and generally its problem outweighs its good aspects, and I will tell you why.

You start playing a game like I do, playing COD Warzone, okay?
Every 2 seconds, the screen has flickering... What does that mean? It scans, freezes... something like tearing, resulting in you thinking you're playing with 150 ping.

This alone ruins the whole gaming experience. It has been two years since its release and they knew about the problem from the beginning. Three updates and they still haven't fixed it. This alone should concern you. Go to forums and see what people are saying. Do market research before deciding to buy it.

I ignored all the bad reviews, thinking they might have received a faulty unit, but the issue is with the monitor from the start. There is no chance of escaping something like this.

I will not write much for analysis, but I will briefly say without going into specific technical terms, as I have only owned it for 5 days.

I have it connected via Display Port 1.4 directly to an RTX 3080, along with a 27-inch HDMI in a dual monitor setup.

My first impression was left by the colors and clarity. Now I can easily say that I will not go for anything smaller than 32 inches, 1440p, which can provide such color performance with QLED technology. The 244hz are useless if you don't play FPS games. But very nice for competitive titles.
The HDR is nothing to write home about. It's just okay. The annoying thing is that if you enable it, you have to increase the brightness to 100, which is not convenient if you switch between modes. But with some simple settings in the colors, contrasts, etc. through a reasonably user-friendly menu, the performance is extremely good. I haven't experienced any flickering in any use or issues with the colors. Some mention problems, which I do not deny happen, but I did not have any such experience, and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Well, first of all, I have to say about the size, the 32 inch is worth it, BUT it requires a certain distance otherwise it becomes tiring, in terms of pixel density, etc. it's fine. Also, I have to say that I don't know about 27 inches, but the curvature on the 32 inches does a good job, it's my first curved screen and I got used to it in 2 days. Now, positives and negatives.

Positives:
QLED (failed competition to OLED, which you can't find in monitors, nevertheless it's exceptional compared to standard LCD)
HDR600 (it gave me a bit of trouble, details below)
240hz
1ms (theoretically)
freesync pro/ g-sync

Negatives:
1) In order to work at 100%, it requires a graphics card from the RX 5000 and RTX 2000 series and above, as it relies on image compression (not visible) for image transfer, and only the most modern cards support it. If you don't have one of these, you have to sacrifice either some colors (10-bit -> 8-bit, essentially making HDR useless), refresh rate (240->144), or resolution (especially at this size, no-no). That's the problem I had, I didn't know about this and because I had set the refresh rate to 240hz and 1440p, it automatically reduced the colors to 8-bit, resulting in me struggling for 3 days because the HDR looked terrible.
2) Personally, I think it needed a bit of customization to make the image worthy of QLED.

Yes, 100% satisfied, the best combination of a "fast" screen with exceptional colors and resolution, I would have appreciated learning the above from somewhere beyond experience.

As we talk about an expensive purchase, I will be quite detailed for those who are willing to read the following lengthy review about the above-mentioned monitor!

Coming from the Gigabyte G32QC, initially I was hesitant about the price of this Samsung monitor, which costs around 600 euros, as I had already spent a lot on my build. However, after about 8 months, I decided to change it and invest in this particular monitor.

Initially, I didn't expect many differences between the two monitors apart from the refresh rate (from 165 to 240), but the upgrade was truly impeccable!

First of all, as I mentioned, the refresh rate is like day and night if you reach high frames. No screen tearing and no flickering. Gsync works perfectly and personally, I didn't have any issues and didn't need any new firmware like some other friends (my monitor came with the latest firmware installed). In terms of colors, we are naturally at the top, as Samsung panels are very vibrant, and of course, if someone doesn't prefer them, they can adjust them from a very user-friendly menu on the screen. Although, generally, the preset settings are already very good and don't require many changes. In terms of blacks and contrast, it's also great, something we expect and have from Samsung QLED. In low-light scenes or environments in games, its blacks are perfect, without any backlight bleed in the corners of the screen, which the G32QC had to a considerable extent in such cases.

I was only a little concerned about the curvature of the screen, which is indeed quite aggressive, but it's not something you don't get used to after a few hours of use. It only lacks a bit in case you want it for work, for example, MS Office, etc. But for any game (competitive, simulation, RPG, racing) or content/movie viewing, it simply excels.

In terms of build quality, it is very sturdy, with a solid but not excessively bulky stand, with the ability to rotate it to portrait mode and move it up and down, as well as tilt adjustment to position it exactly as you prefer. At the back, it also has a discreet but very useful channel for cable management. Finally, it also has RGB because of gaming, but it won't cause epilepsy as it is quite subtle, and of course, you can completely disable it.

The main downside is, of course, its price, which ranges around 650-700 euros mainly, which is quite high. There is no exact comparison with it as it is a category on its own. A fast QHD panel with such a large curvature in 32" is not something that is very common in the market. So, if you want such a monitor, I believe there is nothing equally good in the market at the moment. Considering the features it offers, I think it ideally deserves around 600 euros, which can be available as a promotion from time to time, or even a little less if you are lucky. If you want to save some money, go for the 27-inch one. It is equally good and will also leave you some space on your desk.

Samsung has delivered the whole package to demanding gamers. QLED, Curved (1000R), 1440p, 240hz, HDR, Freesync Pro/ Gsync Compatible, Fast VA Panel with AMAZING response times across the entire range of hz. I really can't imagine anything else they could add. Let's go into more detail about the screen:
Coming from the PG278QR, a gaming monitor with one of the fastest panels on the market and incredibly good TN color performance, I noticed 3 things in the G7 that made me realize that the guys did a serious job.
1) It really has exceptional response times. I haven't noticed the slightest difference from the previous one, there is no trace of ghosting, there is no visible overshoot anywhere, in other words, the time has come when a fast VA panel (or a fast IPS like the Asus PG 259Q 360hz) can offer the advantages of a TN and at the same time, due to panel technology, offer other positives that we all know.
2) Very nice blacks. They make the monitor ideal for gaming but also for movies where dark scenes often dominate. Really no comparison to TN and IPS, a wise choice by Samsung to invest in this technology.
3) Nice colors, very natural, overall quite good color performance. Due to the size, you play with fewer ppi here compared to the 27-inch, so some may find it slightly mediocre in terms of saturation and less compact in terms of clarity. The result remains excellent overall.
I got used to the size difference compared to the 27-inch and the 1000R curvature almost immediately, so don't be scared. You won't have any trouble. Not even in fps games. Especially with the curvature that makes some people obsessed with buying it. Just give it time and you won't regret it.
Gaming at 240hz with adaptive sync. Awesome experience. It is necessary for the hardware to be able to support the power needed for some titles to reach these fps, especially at this resolution. For those who already have 144/165hz monitors, don't expect to see tremendous differences, the smoothness of the movements is clearly a little better though. Don't listen to what everyone says, the gap is not that big. But it really is butter. For those who will transition from 60-75hz, it's a cultural shock, they just won't believe what they see.
One negative aspect is the viewing angles due to the aggressive curvature, the result is good as one would expect, but it could be much better if we were talking about a flat panel or 1800R.
Sturdy stand, easy handling right/left and up/down, quite an easy menu with many options.
Personally, it came to me with the 1800.0 firmware, I didn't notice any flickering with adaptive sync on. I updated to 1900.3, it adds the VRR control option to the menu. Some users reported that it eliminates flickering issues but they have stuttering in games when they enable this option. I personally have it disabled since I don't have any issues.
The screen is a real gem on the desk. I won't talk about lighting, RGB, and nonsense, yes, it has those too and they work well, but I personally don't care at all. It's beautiful anyway, both internally and externally.
I couldn't give it less than 5 stars. If you really have the budget and want something that offers the whole package, you're here with your eyes closed. Samsung offers it to you with joy. Get it.

Quite a good screen and at a good price right now at €635.00. I bought it when it was €599.00 two weeks ago.

There is no doubt about the colors of the screen, and the black is on another level since we are talking about QLED. The negative so far is that this is the second screen, as the first one was returned due to three burnt pixels on the second day. I had bought the first one for €678.00. The second one, which I currently have, burned one pixel in the first week and it is only visible on a white background. I did not go through the process of returning it, as it does not bother me (it is on the edge), and I believe that the next one will have the same issue.

Am I so unlucky? Maybe.

I encountered flickering issues with the version 1007.1. Now, with version 1009.3, I haven't seen anything so far.

The menu is very user-friendly, and you don't have to spend hours searching. You need to find the right height to avoid any viewing issues, especially with the top and bottom parts, as it has a backlight bleeding issue, and it might bother you in some areas where a game is dark. I didn't have this issue, and I don't think there is a screen that doesn't "suffer" from it. In fact, the second one I have now has a slightly more intense issue. Personal opinion, don't focus too much on this because no screen will satisfy you unless you are extremely lucky.

The adaptive sync does an excellent job, and the better the graphics card, the smoother the image. I have seen it with a 2080ti, and the response and graphics are amazing (you see more FPS). I am using a 1070ti, which will retire soon : )

I recommend lowering the brightness because it is quite high, and in a dark environment, it is extremely tiring, even if you have set the Windows to night mode.

Even the movies I watch, the Odyssey shines due to its panel!

It didn't receive the 5th star because of the pixel issue and for no other reason.
