After about a year of relatively light use, the part that pierces the cork came off from the rest. Great success.

I have had it for a few months and I was very satisfied. Until the plastic step inside broke, probably from dry rot? It seems like it was pressed too hard and the plastic inside started to rise until the bottom ring broke... Meanwhile, it has opened many bottles of the same brand. Nevertheless, it managed to open the bottle but I don't know what will happen with the next ones. Will the plastic continue to rise even more, causing it to pierce the bottom end of the cork? Will it depend each time on the diameter of the bottle opening where it will stop? For now, I am leaving it halfway because it still works and I will come back in case it worsens!
