On 23/12/2020, I received it. I ended up with a motherboard that had every possible problem a motherboard could show, and obviously, the quality control department of GIGABYTE did not check it properly or at all. Since I opened a warranty ticket directly with GIGABYTE, for at least 8 months I was getting nowhere as they kept referring me from department to department, and then they shifted all the blame to the store where I bought it. After confirming the malfunction at their diagnostic center, they managed to replace the non-functional motherboard with a brand new one. Within almost 2 months, they got me out of a difficult situation, and I have a functional PC again, and the 1300 euros I had paid once did not go to waste. For the motherboard, I give 3 stars because reliability is one issue and the other is the price-to-product ratio. Obviously, I will not shop from GIGABYTE again after this experience, as they do not take responsibility in case of warranty and always blame others, passing the ball of responsibility back and forth.

The flagship of AORUS on Z490 is the most quality you have seen in a motherboard, beautiful design with smart placement of ports so that almost all come out from the right side of the motherboard and nothing ugly is visible on its entire surface. Incredible quality Block that combines cooling for CPU, southbridge, and passive coolers for the NVMe, plus a leak detector system that automatically shuts down the motherboard one in a million in case of a leak. We're talking about a piece weighing over 4 kg fully copper with nickel plating (except for the passive NVMe coolers which are aluminum) which after installation on the motherboard (it comes in a separate package inside the box as you have to install the CPU first of course) is ready and the motherboard reaches about 6 kg, but it's reasonable due to the block and its construction since we are talking about a brutal EATX motherboard. Very user-friendly BIOS, very stable operation in general, its packaging is huge I would say as it has a lot of extra stuff inside (RGB commander, AORUS USB flash with drivers, WiFi antennas, and many more). It is definitely very expensive but of course, the cost is 100% justified as a top motherboard from any company costs several hundred euros and for those who know about custom water cooling, a simple CPU block from a good company costs 100 euros, a monoblock surely 200, so if we assume that you could find this specific block on the market, it would definitely be worth a lot on its own... The only downside I found in this motherboard is that its leak detector system is overly sensitive and you have to be careful that the fittings do not touch the copper wiring of the detector because it will go into safe mode and will not turn on.
