Users feel it offers very good value for money, with vivid picture quality and good 4K resolution. They also mention an easy-to-use menu, fast internet connectivity, and satisfactory performance for movies, streaming, and gaming. However, the Vidaa operating system has a limited selection of apps and sometimes freezes, while several users report screen or LED failures after a few years.
I would say that this one is value for money. I've had it for 3-4 years and it's still awesome for movies. I recommend it!
After 3 years it stopped working. The service wants 40 euros just for the visit. Terrible menu and even worse the vidaa. STAY AWAY
Very satisfied, I have had it for 3 years and it hasn't had a single issue.. I bought it on sale for 300€ if I remember correctly
In 2.5 years, the screen burned out and the service told me that repairing it is not cost-effective. It still has the factory batteries in the remote control.
This vidaa is for garbage. Unusable to the point of disgust. Used purely as a smart TV, without an antenna.
From the beginning that the 58-inch one was purchased, it sticks and blocks especially when you press quickly 2 to 3 commands quickly and it does not respond. We took it and the warranty was valid and the controller was changed. Again the same, I went to YouTube and it blocked, so I took it out of the socket traditionally to unblock it. I wonder, does it work smoothly for others?...
For the money, it's pretty good, the only downside is that sometimes the apps freeze and a restart is needed. We've had it for about two months and used it at the vacation home
The sound when watching videos on YouTube adjusts itself, creates surround sound on its own without it being present, one moment it is good and after a few seconds it sounds like it's coming from a well, and this happens continuously during playback. I was told that it's not a problem with my TV but a problem with the model. I wonder how the other owners haven't noticed it... However, I wonder if this shouldn't be covered by the warranty since the TV, no matter how you look at it, is faulty and cannot properly reproduce YouTube videos. Other than that, the menu lags and the only thing I am satisfied with is its picture quality
I do not have a great experience with televisions, but this particular one seems quite satisfactory to me. I also do not have high demands. I would easily recommend it to others who want an affordable solution for a 4k television.
For the 43". Well, today I got it, former owner of the LG Smart 4K 43". Many tools for image, sound, etc. Image and sound for the money I paid, very good, I didn't expect it to be honest. It requires some searching for the settings to end up with one's taste. Now, it plays all video files from the USB stick except for DivX, as well as many audio codecs. The subtitles on the USB stick must be renamed exactly like the video file and they definitely need UTF8 encoding from a computer first and definitely from the TV, subtitles must be open. It is definitely a very good choice for this money
I bought the size 43 for 299 euros, it's quite good for its price.
The only problem is that it doesn't have enough apps like cosmote tv
For the money, it is good. However, it has some disadvantages, in my opinion. Firstly, its base (i.e., the two screw legs) looks very fake, it wobbles easily, and gives the feeling that it is very easy to break. Secondly, its software (vidaa), if you search for it, you will see that it is rather problematic, without good support.
But its main problem for me is that when connected to a PC via HDMI, it has a problem with playing movies, both in sound and image. The sound frequently cuts off, and the image adjusts brightness. I searched a lot, called the company, changed every possible setting, but without result. I also tried three different media players (potplayer, vlc, and kmplayer), also without result. Therefore, I was forced, as a last resort, to move it to the living room and bring the one I had there to the room.
EDIT
I also tried changing HDMI ports and cables, likewise without success.
EDIT 25-9-2022
Its software does not support COSMOTE TV at all.
I bought it at the end of November 2021 for student housing purposes. I'm talking about the 43-inch one. Overall, it's a good TV, with decent value for money, and it doesn't have any noticeable negatives. However, it doesn't have anything exceptionally outstanding either. The only real drawback I found is that it doesn't support Greek subtitles for files played from a USB stick. No matter how much I searched, I couldn't enable them. On the other hand, other languages worked fine. In other words, I couldn't select Greek encoding.
I don't know if there's a trick to overcome the above, but it's the only truly annoying thing. Everything else is acceptable to very good (picture, sound, menu, online applications, etc.).
The television is the DEFINITION of VALUE FOR MONEY, it does NOT EXIST!!! *For LED television, its blacks are quite good in HDR.. If only I had OLED..
I didn't know the brand, I was expecting a fake but it turned out to be a diamond! I have a 48-inch Samsung that I bought for 750 euros, but with this one, I experienced a cultural shock! Dolby sound, incredibly powerful (10 out of 100 volume, it sounds full without noise), unbelievable picture, and most importantly, it automatically finds web TV channels with the press of a red button and you can watch whatever you want from there. From now on, I'm playing with Hisense. Hisense plays ball for 300 euros
It concerns a 58" purchase in December 2021 on offer for €398.
️Inspired by the many positive reviews here, I took a risk and after many years of trust in Korean LG & SAMSUNG, I went for the Chinese brand Hisense.
️Satisfied and I can say after 1 month of use that it is the ultimate value for money.
️Technology in TVs is evolving rapidly, so for me it is not worth spending more than €400-500 for a purchase, considering that it will be outdated in a few years!
️Unexpectedly very good picture, slightly inferior to the Korean ones. However, I can say that the sound is superior, even though I use a Home Cinema.
️The VIDAA software is excellent, it does not lag at all for YouTube, Netflix, etc. It receives regular updates. The response to channel changes is very good without delay, and the channels are properly numbered (because I read in a comment that someone had difficulty).
️In conclusion, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a lot by giving a little!
Positives: good sound, easy menu, fast response, fast internet without interruptions.
Negatives: mediocre image quality, limited viewing angles.
The performance of the black color is mediocre and overall the color quality fades somewhat, especially in dark images compared to a 2018 TOSHIBA 39'' smart FHD that I have, it's like day and night.
Regarding viewing angles, they are mediocre.
06/01/22: after software updates, I assume, the image quality improved significantly and especially the black color!!! Viewing angles are still challenging.
All the good things that the previous owners said about me, I agree. After the upgrades, the color settings changed for the better. I find it very good at this price
Limited software capabilities. The lighting from the screen's LEDs is visible on both the right and left sides. However, don't expect anything extraordinary for its price. It does not have a voice assistant and does not support Alexa or Google Voice.
The sound doesn't drive me crazy, but if the appropriate adjustment is made from the menu on the sound, then the situation improves somehow. Nevertheless, it is a very good television with perfect colors and very good resolution.
I have the version with the 43-inch screen. I have used it with the Playstation 5 console. To activate 4K HDR, you need to go to Menu->System->HDMI&CEC and select Enhanced Format. The picture quality is very good for the price, but I was disappointed with the sound, which sounded very muffled. The good thing is that you can buy a soundbar and connect it to the HDMI ARC or Optical Audio Out port. The build quality is fine, the software is fast and easy to use. For PS5/PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X/S, or Xbox One X consoles, the best settings are as follows:
- From your console settings, enable HDR only if the game supports it, instead of having it constantly enabled. On the Playstation 5, go to settings->Screen and Video->Video Output->HDR and select: On When Supported.
- HDMI Enhanced Format for 4K HDR 60Hz.
- Disable Game Mode, as it doesn't offer any benefits. Personally, I didn't see any difference, and it degrades the picture quality when the game doesn't support HDR.
- Disable Surround Sound.
- Picture Mode: select Dynamic HDR.
- Contrast Adjustment: Low.
- Disable Backlight.
- Disable Noise Reduction.
- Disable MPEG Image Enhancement.
- Sound Mode: select Theater.
- In the sound settings, go to the equalizer and set the frequency to 10KHz from 3dB to 8dB, leave the rest as they are.
- Color Temperature: With Dynamic HDR, the color temperature will be cool, so you can adjust it to your liking. Personally, I set it to Normal.
For games that don't support HDR, select "Sports" as the Picture Mode, disable Backlight, set Sharpness to 15, Contrast Adjustment to Low, disable Noise Reduction and MPEG Image Enhancement.
CAUTION: Disable Quick Start from the settings.
Go to Menu->System->Advanced Settings->Quick Start and disable it. If you don't do this, every time you turn off and on your TV, the surround sound will be automatically enabled, even though it appears disabled in the menu. Surround sound dramatically reduces the sound quality on this TV, so it is very important to have it disabled!
Στο Playstation 5 που έχω εγώ πηγαίντε στις ρυθμίσεις->Screen and Video->Video Output->HDR και επιλέξτε: On When Supported
Today I received it and it is very vfm. As a first impression, it has pretty good sound and of course colors. The only negative for now is the subtitles from an external hard drive. I can't see them at all even though I have enabled the relevant option. When I manage, I will come back.
Edit: It turned out to be an encoding issue, but this needs to be done via a PC because the TV does not have this capability.
We open the subtitle file and do "save as" => "Unicode" we test it and if it doesn't work, we select "save as" => "UTF8" and test it.
For me, it worked with UTF8.
The cosmote TV application is not available on Android TV and the NOVA EON does not work.
A first impression, I will come back in depth over time for reliability.
I had doubts before buying it because I didn't know the brand at all.
With a little research, I read several positive reviews about Hisense
(mainly from RTINGS.com, which is relatively strict in its reviews.)
Although it is a gift to my parents, who generally have no demands, I wanted it to meet my own standards.
First of all, it is the definition of a value-for-money product.
It deserves 5 stars for the Price - Quality - Technology it offers.
As a first impression, I was impressed by the image, the colors, and the clarity.
Especially when I connected the PC and saw 4k HDR games and movies, I thought about "sacrificing" the 144 Hz in the future to get a second one for myself. A real feast for the eyes.
The sound is satisfactory in both volume and quality.
The Wi-Fi has good speed, the menu is extremely simple, and the Vidaa OS does its job just fine.
In a few words, it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it.
We bought the television 4 months ago. From the third month onwards, the image quality started to change. It really isn't worth it at all... with an extra 70 euros, you can get something much better.
It is very good for its money. The operating system could have been better now but literally has everything. Worth 100%
The image is average. The rest is just okay, the build quality of the TV and the remote control is average. Overall, it's mediocrity.
For its price, it is by far the best (300$). The internet is incredibly fast. Its menu is user-friendly. I installed the mobile app for remote control via wifi, which is great when I'm on the computer and my wife gets excited about something she's watching and wants to turn up the volume, I can lower it remotely. It has absolutely no problems, flawless, especially for its price.
When you turn it on, for the first 5 seconds you can't control it (change channels, adjust volume, etc.) until it loads, so be careful not to have anything embarrassing on when you have the in-laws and you turn it on like idiots then...
It is definitely worth the TV.
Update 20-08-21
After three months of use and 3 software updates, the TV has become even better. Fully functional now upon turning on. Absolutely no complaints. With approximately 8 hours of daily use, it has not presented any problems. I will come back for a further evaluation over time, but you might say that by the time I evaluate it, better models will have come out (maybe).
Update 08-11-21
Almost another three months have passed and the TV has proven its worth (with the excessive use we give it). The only thing I noticed is that because I had a Chromecast from before, when I connect it, it works perfectly but turns off after a few hours of leaving the Chromecast connected. You might ask, what doesn't a smart TV offer you that you need Chromecast for? There are some things that can only be cast with Chromecast...
Update 17-12-21
I connected an Xbox Series X and even here, the picture is flawless with HDR enabled in 4K, of course.
Update 30-03-22
The internet had some glitches, so I did a factory reset on the TV and reset the router, and everything is fine now. It was probably the router needing an update, but anyway, it's back to functioning properly. It remains a perfect purchase.
I bought it mainly for gaming but I wanted to see all the capabilities before I review it. I used it minimally for simple tasks, but who buys a 4K TV to watch Greek television? However, it is very good for Netflix. The picture quality is great.
Now, for gaming, I tried it with PS5 games and also with PS4 through backwards compatibility. The result is very impressive, especially with HDR in games with vibrant colors. I played around with the settings using some videos I found, although I think I could possibly improve it in some areas. Overall, for its price, the TV performs exceptionally well and I believe it doesn't have much to envy from higher-end models in the market. The picture is very clear and the colors are beautiful. If you watch from an angle, the image is not bad, but it definitely becomes more challenging.
The sound is quite good for my requirements after a few adjustments.
The menu is simple without anything special, but it has very good responsiveness and speed, just like the internet.
In terms of construction, it is simply good but sturdy, and it allows you to adjust the legs by a few centimeters.
The PS5 games I played were RE:Village, Returnal, Genshin Impact native edition, and a bit of Demon's Souls. It definitely doesn't deliver the same results as a QLED, but it doesn't require the corresponding budget either.
Purchase date: 20/5/2021. From the image, after many adjustments, I can't say I'm crazy about it, it's good to mediocre. However, for connecting to Netflix, YouTube, etc., it works flawlessly. I can only catch one line of WiFi from the router, which is located in another house above, and it doesn't lag at all. The menu is very easy and the sound is very good. Overall, it is a very good television, except when watching smart TV, it looks much better than regular channels.
I was skeptical at first, but after 4 months of use, I have something to say. Incredible colors, bright images, powerful sound, and above all, a fantastic internet experience. The remote control is very convenient. SOS!!! Whenever you connect it, make sure to update the format to adjust the TV!!!

Όχι.
Έχει το VIDAA 4 για λειτουργικό.
Netflix, Disney plus, Prime , You Tube....αυτά από τα γνωστά.
Καλησπέρα! έχω την 43αρα περίπου 2 χρόνια και τις τελευταίες μέρες ενώ είναι σε λειτουργία χάνει όλα τα κανάλια και δεν έχω εικόνα. Τα επανασυγχρονίζω με τον αυτοματο συντονισμό, δουλεύει κανονικά για 1-2 μέρες και μετά πάλι τα ίδια. Έχει παρουσιάσει σε κάποιον άλλο το ίδιο πρόβλημα;

The Hisense A7100F TV displays 4K Ultra HD images with Direct LED backlighting and supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG. The Vidaa operating system provides access to apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, DisneyPlus and Eon, while internet connectivity is available via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
