I just saw one of these getting destroyed simply because the other person braked with a load cell. I looked into it a bit more to see how it is from a mechanical perspective and it turns out it's just an expensive thing that will break sooner or later if load cells and DD are mounted on it.

You can get an 8020 aluminum rig for less money that is much sturdier and infinitely customizable + a car seat from a junkyard or used parts. Or even a new bucket seat, but that gets pricey.

So I don't see the reason to waste so much money on something that isn't that sturdy and has flex.

Do your research carefully and ask if needed on Reddit or wherever you want. Don't listen to just anyone like me, but don't go for something that's a lost cause either.

After a lot of searching, I ended up here, so let's talk. It's a nice leather seat, but if you play for many hours, you get numb, even though it's soft. It has a nice sturdy construction, but it's heavy.

One downside is that it's not easily adjustable; you need to have an Allen key if you want to make any changes. Also, while the chair moves back and forth, the backrest requires you to unscrew 2 screws with caps. Fortunately, it only requires your hand, but it only gives you 3 points: very far forward, in the middle (but very reclined) for the middle, and all the way back.

I would say it's a lot of money for what it offers. It's good, yes, but would I buy it again? Maybe not. However, with this price range, the options are a bit limited, so I would probably buy it, but without the chair (I was looking for it, but unfortunately, it wasn't available). If you change the chair, I believe the experience would be 2-3 times better.

Setup:
We're always talking about a DD wheelbase, with a Moza R5 Bundle and the Moza lever.

The games I play are mainly Assetto Corsa for drifting and GT driving, and lately, I've been playing Euro Truck. It was uncomfortable, and I had to come up with a workaround to get comfortable because it didn't provide the experience I needed. It's not really suitable for this type of game, of course; the driving position isn't convenient, especially now that the Moza truck wheel has been added.

So, let's get to it. Very sturdy construction, all parts are of very good quality, the chair may not be genuine leather but it looks like it, assembly took me quite a while, but it's not difficult. The driving position is very good, comfortable (GT position), I still don't know about the formula position. The cushion is very comfortable too. You can adjust everything to your liking (steering wheel height, driving position, gears, etc.) and customize it to fit you perfectly. The pedal position is comfortable and it has a slight resistance when pressing hard, without interfering with the driving at all. I don't have a Direct Drive wheel yet, but it supports it easily. Overall, it's an expensive cockpit, the purchase was made out of necessity since GT-Omega art doesn't ship to Greece (much cheaper). However, I don't regret it because it's very high quality. Buy it without hesitation. I will definitely buy the wheels so that I can easily transport it. I will come back after a couple of months of use for more feedback.

Be careful not to tighten the screws on the frame at the beginning because it will be very difficult, leave them loose to assemble and then tighten them.

I'm coming back after 4 months of quite intensive and aggressive use, it hasn't suffered any damage, it's extremely sturdy, I didn't need to tighten a single screw. Don't have any concerns about DD; and the chair upholstery is genuine leather, not faux leather. It's good to occasionally clean the leather pores with a warm cloth from use.

I'm coming back again now that I have a DD Wheel 8nm, no issues at all, it supports it without any problems
