I would not recommend it for outdoor use. It is overly sensitive and records with the slightest movement of the leaves. The battery lasted me only 2 days the first time, while the other times at most 10 days, after I placed it on a tree trunk without leaves. The only positive is that it takes relatively clear photos and videos.
