MOBILAC is a varnish paint for metal surfaces. It is recommended for painting railings, metal constructions, bodies, machinery, and metal surfaces in general, providing a perfect finish and anti-rust protection. It gives a final surface with high and unaltered gloss and great durability against adverse weather conditions, ultraviolet radiation, and impacts.

Shades: white and black in gloss and matt, and in 68 readily available shades.

Application method: roller, brush, spray gun.

Thinning: For brush, roller painting: up to 10% v/v with CHROTEX Brush Thinner. For spray gun painting: up to 10% v/v with CHROTEX Spray Gun Thinner.

Drying: Dry to the core: 6±2 hours. Recoating after 14 hours.

Coverage: 9±1 m²/Lt for 45±5μm dry film thickness per coat.

Application instructions:

• Surfaces are cleaned of old paints, rust, friable materials, oils, and dust.
• PRERUST and RUSTABIL products can be used for rust removal or stabilization, respectively.
• MOBILAC is applied in 2 coats. For absolute anti-rust protection under extremely adverse conditions, it is recommended to apply 1 coat with anti-rust primer (REDOX, GRIDOX) and two coats of MOBILAC.

Painting method: Brush, roller, spray gun.

Thinner: CHROTEX Brush Thinner or CHROTEX Spray Gun Thinner, depending on the application method.

Thinning ratio: For brush, roller application: Up to 10% v/v [Paint viscosity 80±15 sec, (DIN 53211-70/4 mm, 23°C) or 110±20 sec (ELOT EN ISO 2431-96/6 mm, 23°C)]. For spray gun application: Up to 10% v/v [Paint viscosity: 50±10 sec (DIN 53211-70/4 mm, 23°C) or 70±15 sec (ELOT EN ISO 2431-96/2 mm, 23°C), spray gun nozzle opening: 1.6-1.8 mm, air pressure: 2-3 bar].

Painting tools are cleaned immediately after application with the corresponding thinner, soapy water, and water.
