I change it about 2 times a year. I think that is quite often. Essentially, every time it doesn't print correctly, the print heads need to be cleaned, and so this box gradually fills up. I believe that Epson could provide a container that we could empty and wash ourselves. This is essentially a way for them to continuously make money.
