In this autobiography, the reader is taken on a mental journey that takes place: a) in the Greek countryside during the period 1930-1947 (Chapter 1), when life there was similar to the everyday life of Greeks from antiquity until then and when significant events occurred in our country (dictatorship 1936-1941, participation in World War II, national resistance), b) in Athens during the period 1947-1977 (Chapter 2), when negative social factors (civil war, dictatorship 1967-1974) heavily impacted our country, while major scientific discoveries and technological inventions were happening internationally, c) in Thessaloniki during the period 1977-2008 (Chapter 3), when our country began to develop scientifically and technologically and when significant global social changes took place.
Chapter 4 refers to his scientific work and social actions, while the Epilogue summarizes the most important events of his life. An independent source of similar information consists of 88 images (photos, sketches, graphics). In the autobiography, there is an attempt for an objective presentation of the facts. However, the author does not settle for this but relies on the facts to draw conclusions of broader scientific and social interest.
